In the Grasp of a Nightmare
My latest creation. Came about by playing with techniques. I really enjoyed building it, I think that building creatures is becoming a major strength of mine. This build is kind of creepy, to the point where I am not sure I completely like it. Please dont think this is how I usually think I am usually more light hearted. I thought I would post it anyway as it looks good and I spent quite a bit of time on it. Please take your time looking and catch all the details. Thanks for viewing everyone!
About this creation

Billy was asleep in his soft, warm bed, but It was a fitfull night, full of dreams. Then late in the night he had a dream if you could call it that. He was in bed, in a place that was the very essence of fear. He looked and looked but could see nothing. Suddenly a black hand with long talons reached out of the darkness, slowly... menacingly... Billy was caught up bed and all in the grasp of a monster. The monster was menacing looking with a piercing gaze that wrought immense terror on poor Billy. He realized he was not alone with the monster. There were others in the abyss, one was a spindly being towering high into the darkness looking with a piercing eye at its victim. There was another, the devourer, covered in spines ready to strike, to swallow poor Billy whole. In terror Billy said to himself, "Its only a nightmare It will pass, and I will wake up." Sure enough it happened Billy woke up in a cold sweat, the nightmare over. Billy gave a sigh of relief and went back to bed to be visited by more pleasent dreams.

Well thanks for viewing everyone I hoped you liked it and werent to creeped out. Please let me know what you think and remember any improvement tips you have are always appreciated. Thanks again.

Awesome stuff! The details on the bed are nice, but the creature really sticks out to me. The details and the small little parts usage really make it stand out. Great job!

Quoting MCLegoboy ! The parts used are great! I like the spyglasses for the bed the most. Very cool. I'm so desensitized, this isn't all that creepy. Hahaha.
Thanks MCLegoboy!

Quoting David Roberts I really like how you've made the curved, domed head on the monster from the arms and claws. The beady red eyes are very affective, set back in that skull.
Thank you, I quite liked that as well.

Quoting David . And looking more, I realize that the main dudes head is claws, and not a Bionicle piece. I think I will study this and possibly use bits of it in the (far) future!
Thanks David, Im glad you like it. I really like the head technique too.

No need to look under the bed, the monster is holding it in his hand. Great work Justin! You really got that freaky look.
