Although this MOC uses Bionicle and Hero Factory pieces, this character belongs to the Ninjago universe. What? That's what you get when you ask a Bionicle MOCcist to create a Ninjago character :P

About this creation

Okay, so basically, Nik Brusk Invited me to the Nightshade King contest (which seriously needs more particapants, so joining wouldn't hurt anyone...

Anyway, this was the message;
"hi, it's Toa Brusk I thought about rebooting Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu into Ninjago: Resurrection and have thought of a new villian named Nightshade, who is an evil shadow villian. But there's 1 problem: i don't no what he'll look like! so i'm startin' a contest, where the people who join/get invited have 2 make a version of Nightshade. And whoever makes the best Nightshade will be the winner, and i'll try 2 make a moc that looks like him."

And so, this is what I came up with:

The Nightshade:

The Nightshade is a shadow entity that was created by lord Garmadon. This resentful, greedy and short tempered would-be Shogun will stop at nothing until he has eliminated all of his foes.

After his creation, the Nightshade was apointed as a worrior in Garmadon's army. He swarmed the ranks, and it was not long until he was Garmadon's second in command. But it was not enough for him; creating his own army of insectoid shadow worriors, he set out to slay Garmadon and take power for himself. His army was crushed by Garmadon's Snake clan, and the Nightshade was banished to the shadow relm.
The Nightshade spent a long time plotting revenge with the remnents of his army. When he finally was ready to strike, he descovered to his dismay that Garmadon had already been defeated by his son, Lloyd. The Nightshade now plots to kill Lloyd, for taking what was rightfully his.

(Brusk, you don't have to use the story, It's there just in case you need it)

Nice one here Wert! Being a fan of Ninjago, I can appreciate this. Hmm, I wonder if I should join this.. perhaps that's what's up with al those JOIN DA CONTEST links XD.

Quoting Chopperskull 2 This is psycho cool. Love the uses of purple and the prey-mantis vibe to it. Love the head especially the claws as a mouth, very creepy and alien-like ! Wish you the best in the contest :)
