Galactica in orbit with the Athenian Fleet.
About this creation
Mav: "I hope somebody's got a flashlight..."

Mav: "Oh, never mind, found the switch..."

Mav: "Pretty fancy for a hole in the ground."

Bonsch: "Sure beats freezin’ our tails off out there, Commander!"

Mav: "What do think, Bones?"
Bones: "Not bad, not bad. Makes a nice death trap, that's for sure!"

Mav: "Who knows, might find something interesting down here...Maybe a bowling alley?"

Corthay: "Hatch secured, Sir!"

Mav: "Okay... Listen up, here’s the plan:"

Mav: "Red and I’ll take point."

Mav: "Bonsch, you and Simon’ll take the container,"

Mav: "Bones and the Athenians with them in the center."

Mav: "Corthay and Giardello will take the rear. Let’s move!"

Athenian: "We must be alert, our intelligence on the inside of this facility is limited..."

Mav: "Thanks for the heads up!"

Athenian: "In light of the experiments that have been performed here, the results may not be pleasant..."

Corthay: "Alright, G, you watch the rear, I'll watch the two clankers."

Giardello: "Got it, Chief!"

Bones: "A little musty down here, could use some air freshener..."

Athenian: "Most likely a combination of organic solvents and decaying flesh."

Mav: "Wonderful...Looks like we've got a junction here..."

Mav: "All's quiet."

Mav: "Let's check it out..."

Mav: "Hmm, a bunch of doors. Probably not crew quarters from the looks of them."

Mav: "Maybe our friends can help us with the combos on these, too?"

Athenian: "Certainly, Commander. Accessing..."

*click*

Mav: "Okay, team up, find a door. Let's see what we've got!"

Chamber 1

Corthay: "What the...?"

Athenian: "He was the lead scientist for the Poseidon Cult during their occupation of my city."

Athenian: "His soldiers captured me and my friends..."

Athenian: "It's difficult to speak of the atrocities that he commited..."

Corthay: "So what's he doing HERE?"

Athenian: "This is simply a copy. To ensure his model line continues indefinitely."

Corthay: "Like some sort of bank...Weird!"

Meanwhile, in the adjacent chamber.

Mav: "What do you think, Simon?"

Mav: "She's a hottie, right?!"

Simon: "I don't know, Sir, kind of creepy if you ask me..."

Mav: "Not sure what THIS is?"
Simon: "I'd rather NOT know..."
Mav: "Agreed."

Simon: "Sir, listen...I think it's Bones!"

Chamber 3

Mav: "Frak ME! It's Cougar!!"

Bones: "We figured you'd want to see this!"

Bonsch: "Pretty freaky, eh, Commander?"
Mav: "That's a good way to put it... So THIS is what our new friends wanted us to see for ourselves...Okay, I've seen enough. Let's move."

Mav: "So now we know their secret... What's next on the tour?"

Athenian: "As we suspected, these copies would be here, still intact. I gather from your reaction that you have met one of them in person."

Mav: "Yeah, you got THAT right!"

Mav: "I say we find the main control station..."

Athenian: "That seems to be a logical next step, Commander. But we should proceed with caution..."

The group continues through the winding corridors.

Bones: "THAT looks promising!"

Athenian: "The lock is now disabled."

Giardello: "You hear something?"
Corthay: "Nah, probably just the wind..."

Mav: "Nifty set up they've got here!"

Athenian: "It appears we have found the central computer. All security and environmental systems are routed through here. As well as data storage for the cloning pods."

Mav: "Excellent."

Bones: "So what you're saying is, it would be a good place for a bomb?"

Athenian: "Exactly what I was thinking."

Mav: "Then let's get to it!"

Bones: "Bonsch, Simon, let's get the container in there, and get to work."

Bones: "You'll know what to do."

Simon: "Sir, what's IN that container anyway?"

Mav: "Glad you asked! Give me a hand here, Thor... Something very critical to the mission..."

Mav: "Gatorade!"

Mav: "I'm parched!"

Bonsch: "And C4!"

Bones:"Yeah, and that, too... Let's get 'em set so we can get the frak OUT of here!"

After placing the charges in the control room, the team progresses through the facility.

Mav: "Another turn up ahead..."

Mav: "Uh oh..."

Bones: "Not good."

To be Continued...

Thanks, Dave! I wanted sort of a shell effect over the pods, plus those are big pieces, and they cover a lot of territory. Better wait 'till morning then... Actually, they're not exactly zombies, but you'll see soon enough!

Quoting Tyler Halliwell I know zombies are a popular genre right now, so did you just bring them ib to increase viewers? Either way, great work on another episode. I am like Thor, where I need to reread, but I can at least comment on the builds that were fantastic. The plates qith the vars on them added fantastic texture to the wall drawers, and the clone stasis units looked awesome. Keep up the good work.
What, no smilie?? Ratings zombies, no, not really...I was trying to think of what they might run into down there for quite a while. Already did the robot attack a few times. Thought about an ambush of some sort, but figured that was too complicated. So I was left with zombies. Thanks for stopping by, Stretch!!

Quoting Mastermind º I've been so engrossed in the plot and action of your episodes that I've completely forgotten to say anything about the stuff you build for them! The background and greebly decorations are amazing; I especially love your door designs. They look extremely realistic. Anyways, someday I swear you're going to kill me with the suspense. Bunch of undead looking creatures showing up around the corner wielding pickaxes and hatchets?! Oh man, that's gotta be good... Can't wait for your next release!
Thanks for the thoughtful comment! Yes, rudimentary weapons were the way to go, I thought. Probably used to eat their unlucky victims. I spend a fair amount of time on things like walls and doors. But I didn't go with any ceiling designs on this one, like I do for the ships. Wanted that feeling of limited height, being deep underground and all... Narrow passages... No way out... Hey, what was that...?
