This was built for Guilds of Historica over on Eurobricks. This serves as a story to link together my last build Citadel of the Moon and be a prelude to Challenge 6 at GoH.

Really nice. The water is great (the little green pool is a particularly nice touch and one I've been thinking of using myself for a while!) and I think the minimalist landscaping works wonderfully. As you've acknowledged, it obviously owes some inspiration to Twilight of the Gods but there's nothing wrong with that and it's a fine-looking scene in its own right. |

Fantastically menacing tower design, I love the jagged edges and the mottled colour. |

Beautifully done! I especially love the blue water against the tans of the earth! The windows at the different heights on the tower are a great addition! :)
Thank you! I have been wanting to make the water more realistic with different colors under the Trans Dk Blue tiles, and finally pulled it off in a way that I like |

I like the river, too, and you are perhaps the first person I've seen to make one of the new horses appear as if it's running without having it look absolutely ridiculous. Fine work!
Thanks! I've been meaning to do something like that since I got the new horses last spring! |

The barren look of the landscape really adds a lot. Fantastic job on the tower, too. |

The horse jumping over the water is just awesome, I'm surprised nobody (or at least that I know of) hasn't done that yet, awesome stuff! |

Excellent story to go along with a great build! Your rockwork is top-knotch, and that can be quite difficult when you're trying to incorporate a rounded tower. But you pulled it off, and the tower itself looks awesome too. Nice texturing with those profile bricks. I like the river, too, and you are perhaps the first person I've seen to make one of the new horses appear as if it's running without having it look absolutely ridiculous. Fine work! |
