You can never have too many hover tanks. :D
About this creation

This is the Dragon Jump Tank, a large hovertank capable of short bursts of VTOL flight. The Dragon is protected by a mix of composite material/carbon nanotubes, which give it a good amount of protection while minimizing unwanted weight. Armament consists of a 140mm railgun as well as a RWS equiped with a .50 cal. machine gun + 2 quad-grenade launchers. For additional protection, there are 3 APS.

As was mentioned earlier, the most interesting feature of the Dragon is its VTOL capability, which allows it to bypass large obstacles that would be otherwise impossible to get around. It is theorised is may also allow for large flying transports to be able to deploy these tanks without having to land, but as of this time, no such airship exists. However, this tech is hardly perfect, as it is not capable of firing it's primary weapon while flying due to both power and recoil issues, and any damage a Dragon may take while flying has a significantly higher chance of being catastrophic.

This is the HT-59 Lightning, a speedy medium-weight hover tank designed to bring heavy firepower quickly to anywhere on the battlefield. While not as well armored as our tracked MBT, the Lightning makes up for it with a huge speed advantage. Armament includes a 120mm coilgun, 4 guad-grenade launchers, and a .50 cal. machine gun. Besides the armor, their are two APS mounted on top of the turret for additional defense.

Besides the tank version, their is also an anti-aircraft varient armed with a 20mm rapid-fire coilgun as well as a laser powered by the main reactor.

Partial credit on the Jump tank's turret goes out to Lego 4 Life, he's an excellent builder at LDD and you can check out his work here: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/84364

I know that 1 big gun is better, but wouldn't it just look really cool :) |

Two very formidable and impressive builds. How long did it take you to make them? As to the lack of an airship to carry them, I am on holiday right now and hopefully will have finished the air dreadnought within a week. The question is, will you ask for the airship to carry the tank, or will I ask for the tank for the airship to carry? (:
Maybe a dozen hours total? I'm not quite sure. Anyway, I'll consider both your offers, but I may end up building a domestic airship depending on how negotiations/my free time work out. Even then, this wouldn't necessarily rule out selling hover tanks... |

Great tanks. The Second tank reminds me of some I've seen on star-wars! Some great techniques and detailing on these beauties! |

Awesome tanks, you've put so much detail in them. The color scheme looks very good. The Lightning kinda reminds me of some Star Wars hover tank...

Awesome design's, why don't make a twin-barrel version of the top hover-tank?
Because one big gun is better than two smaller guns. Besides, it's a railgun, so it can have a much higher rate of fire than modern tank guns. |
