Hello, everyone! This is my entry for the MOCpages contest: 'The Ultimate LEGO(R) Contest!' by I me (group: http://mocpages.com/group.php/22077). The Round 2 Category: Elemental Battle.
About this creation
The Ultimate LEGO(R) Contest!
Mummy vs. Ninjas: Elemental Battle (The Ultimate LEGO(R) Contests Round 2 Entry.)
The evil Mummy has decided to ambush the four ninjas while they were crossing the Sahara desert.

The Mummy believes that his powers of summoning and controlling the giant snake would take the four ninjas by surprise and help him defeat them. The Mummy can also control the sands and part them so the snake can attack swiftly and unexpectedly.

Little that he knows, the four ninjas have elemental powers on their own to fight back.

The Ninja of Fire, Kai, uses the element of fire to neutralize one of the Mummy's skeleton minions.

The Ninja of Lighting, Jay, find himself in trouble when the snake's tail whips him across the back and throws him on the hot sand.

The Earth Ninja, Cole, wastes no time and attacks the Samurai Skeleton minion. He immediately assumes the Ninja sword-fighting pose. Near him, the Ice Ninja, Zane, uses the golden sword of fire to stab the Mummy's poisonous serpent. Would the four ninjas be able to defeat the evil Mummy and his minions? To be continued..

Put it in the group!
I would love to, but the group's settings are not allowing adding more than one project to it. Do I have to remove the round-one entry? |

Quoting claw paradox
did you have any trouble viewing the photos at first? cause i am trying to post something, but once I preview it, there are no pictures, instead there are little red X's.
Hello, it seems the MOCpage's uploader is not working. I have had the same issue. Now, I am hosting the photos externally myself and link to them through hyperlinks in the page's HTML. The only problem with that is that you will not have a main picture. The main picture is assigned after a successful upload. Since the uploader is not functioning, there is no way to assign or see the main image for your project. I hope that helps! |

Quoting David the Fire Ninja Jedi
Total score: 27/30. Very nice creation! Where did you get the snake head? It's awesome! Presentation: 10/10. Very nice! The photos are good and the pictures are explained well. Creativity: 8/10 The ninja elements are pretty common, and it's pretty similar to the Ninjago story, but the use of the category is excellent! Building techniques: 5/5. The snake is awesome! The story is great! and the fire from Kai is sweet! Balance: 4/5. while there is much action going on, I felt like the sandy surface was too flat. Adding some yellow studs here and there or making it wavy would have been better. It's an awesome creation. I just have to point out some tings because I'm a judge :). Overall, fantastic! You have some quality builds!
Thank you very much for the critique! The only way for me to get better is to hear other builders' opinions, so I really appreciate them. Honestly, I am not that good at elemental displays. Originally, I was going to build the Mummy sending a wave of sand against the ninjas, but my wave did not turn out well at all. So, I had to introduced the snake... (the head is from a Viking ship set). I agree that the MOC's sand surface is a bit plain; I noticed it from the pics and was going to enhance it but ran out of time. Thank you again!
