Toa Tahu Nuva surfing a river of lava in Ta-Wahi.
About this creation
Two days ago I got the idea to put together all of the Toa Nuva (I own all six of them) and then put them into MOCs. I started with Tahu because he was the easiest to do. Tahu was one of my favorite Toa from when I was a kid. I decided to build a scene where he would be surfing on lava. This was relatively simple. I am very happy with the result, although if I had more dark gray bricks, I would have made the rock walls on either side of the lava a lot taller.

Even though, as Gringat said, it should technically have rocks and bubbles and all that in it, the colors make this look great.

Nice! Though if you look at real lava, it's normally got crusty rock bits and bubbles forming and popping in there too.

I did too! Then when they were discontinued, I had all of them but Kopaka. About a year later though, my aunt found him on EBay and I got him for my birthday. I was very happy about that because Kopaka is another one of my favorites.

It's not often you see a Bionicle diorama, and I like it! The differing shades of yellow and red look nice as lava. The main thing I'd change is to give Tahu's neck more poseablility by adding this piece as the neck: http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/x1192cx3
