My STORYBOOK CHARACTERS
NOTE THIS IS NOT A NEW MOC! BUT it's one that I will UPDATE as I illustrate more STORYBOOK CHARACTERS like today April 19, 2013 when I added LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD and characters from my next major STORYBOOK book - THE WIZARD OF OZ! The reason I say this is not a now MOC is I went to add the new ALADDIN stuff and when I went to validate it had a problem then deleted the whole MOC! Now I have to go back and give descriptions to each picture! Well it's done all the descriptions and a surprise way of introducing each story in my STORYBOOK of LEGO CHARACTERS! I take you inside the STORYBOOK and give you the "page" the story appears on. I also designed the matching book markers! E N J O Y ! and good reading!

Quoting Nate B Your MOCs are so simple! I love it!
thank you! Simplicity is not as simple as it seems. I was taught in my high school (Art & Design in Manhattan) an artist needs to know when to step away from their work! In developing a minifigure that captures the flavor of an existing beloved character is actually hard - I must have when through 5 to 6 looks for TINKERBELL before I settled on her final look! Sometimes as in the case of WENDY as the parts I wanted became available she improved and improved till the minifigure you see today and yes it was simple my extra touch was creating a short sleeved nightgown and the answer was simple - epaulettes! then I had to search for the proper color. this you will see again with my SUPERBOY Minifigure I bought a SUPERBOY custom mini - but it wasn't correct I will be exchanging the black legs it comes with and the arms it comes with (black) I will be using flesh arms and adding black epaulettes for his short sleeves so even though I didn't laser stencil his torso this "custom" mini is being customized by me!

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 will you build big this time?
Well the WIZARD OF OZ has many components as did ALADDIN except all the components are done! I still have to photograph 3 additions to my ALADDIN. Ironically the WIZARD just like ALADDIN took a life of its own on! It grew and grew! I have done them as I do all my LEGO MOC work in LEGO STYLE. One day I may do a MODULAR Style. I do not have the money yet! I am upset I didn't get the Firehouse Modular-I should have ever since I was a kid I loved fire engines, firehouses and firemen, it hasn't changed! So not to miss out I am getting the PALACE Theater! And perhaps the Haunted House Modular! Thanks for asking! by the way the ALADDIN took up almost all my coffee table. When I finish packing it away the WIZARD will take its place! when I have friends over to eat we can't eat in the dining room - the WIZARD is on 85% of the table!!! I am getting as bad as you! LOL!!!

Quoting Topsy Creatori (StoveTopCreator!) You have some Great Characters! Also I'm thinking(I could be mistaken) if you reverse the height x width pixel dimensions from 398 x 500 to 500 x 398 in the html code for all your book photos, they will loose the distortion. :)
Strange all the "books" that are lead-ins to all the story's characters are perfectly clear to me! Unless you are talking about the bottom of the creases! This is what happened when I stretched the books! It doesn't bother me!

Some lovely figures Mr. Pascal! :) As has been stated before, many of them were recognizable even without having read the description. I particularly like your torso selection for the "lost boys" from Peter Pan,

I love the octopus woman. All this needs is an Eastenders type story line where all the characters are somehow linked, related, in an affair or want to kill each other ;)
