A Hawaiian Beach

A simple beach scene based on Kaanapali Beach on Maui.
About this creation
One and a half years ago I spent a week in the Kaanapali Beach area of Maui which is one of the Hawaiian Islands. This beach scene is loosely based on how it looked there. Restaurants lined the boardwalk along the beach. The beach was really wide with white sand and the water was pretty calm with mostly smaller waves with a big wave every now and then. The things that I added in this MOC that I didn't see in Kaanapali are the Lifeguard and the people with dogs (Kaanapali is mostly a tourist area and most tourists don't bring their dogs with them). Otherwise, I went off of what I remember seeing there. I am very happy with how this MOC turned out. I apologize for the lighting in the pictures. It has been very foggy where I live and we haven't seen the sun for over a week and won't anytime soon according to the weather forecasts. That's why the lighting isn't as good in these pictures as it could be.

The public bathroom (I saw these more on the beaches in Honolulu than in Kaanapali but I thought I'd put one there anyway so it wouldn't be just empty space).

Nice!My favorite island was Kauai(i think I spelled it right) and the places there were amazing! Anyway great moc!
