Hero Factory Brain Attack Review #7: Rocka
Rocka steps up! He is set #44002, one of the smaller sets of the Brain Attack wave one releases, with only 43 pieces.
About this creation
Let's see what kind of stuff we are dealing with:

As for the bone pieces, we have one narrow torso piece,
Four grey regular upper limb pieces,
two short lower limb pieces,
two long lower limb pieces,
two silver hands,
two silver feet
and one trans medium green skull piece.

Armour consists of one new gunmetal grey chest plate,
six sise 3 armour pieces; one in trans medium green, two in gunmetal grey, and three in gold,
one gunmetal grey shoulder piece,
Rocka's helmet
and a trans medium green visor.

Also included in this bag are two "Ordeal of Fire" blade pieces,
a golden shield,
a trans medium green blade piece
and a bunch of little Technic pieces.

Those are the pieces, this is the set:

There we go. Rocka has been diminished a lot since his last apperance in Breakout.

The back is bare as usual, and the axel hole is to attach the shield to the back, as per usual, I'm not sure why it's in red, and not black, or grey, or something like that.

The problem with Rocka's shield is because of the little feature underneath, the shield sticks out a little further. It's not noticeable on his hand, but on his back, it does stick out a lot. It's not very great.

As per usual, all the Heroes in this series have "core locking clamps" on their chests. It's a nice feature that makes them look cooler, but I don't see much point in them. I mean, you would think that would be a feature that Bulk would have needed when going up against Core Hunter, who would have actually nicked his core. So if Bulk didn't need something like that, then why do they need them now, up against some wild animals? Also, the clamps can fold in too far, and cover up the hero core, so it's not a good play feature. Overall, I don't think that it was worth putting on any of the sets.

As I said before, the shield does have a little special feature to it. Namely, the blades behind the shield can spin around, making it an offencive and defensice tool. It's a great feature, and the Kids who buy this to play with it will definately enjoy it. The disadvantage of the shield is that it sticks out too far, but I've already talked about that.

The sword is good. It looks cool, it's the right size, and it just looks like something that a futuristic character would have. The gold hilt looks a bit pointless, but it looks nicer than if it had gone without a hilt.

With most of the Heroes, I have prefered the visor down than up. However, this set doesn't look as good with it down. The top of the Visor adds a little bit of extra height which doesn't look very good. The skinny looking neck just makes it look wierder.

This way, however, is better. The head is now in proportion. However, there is still a problem. The way the ends of the eye holes droop down like that looks a little... odd. It looks cool, but it's not a Heroic sort of face. It's more of a screaming ghost kind of look, or the sad-face in the Mask Theatre symbol, with the happy mask and the sad mask, if you catch my drift.

Another Review bites the dust! I'm going to rate this set in three different catogories; Toy value (how good it is to play with and pose ect.), Design Value (The design, including the colour scheme and how it was built) and Moccist Value (The amount of good pieces).
Here are Rocka's results;

Toy Value: 4/5

Design Value: 3/5

Moccist Value: 2/5

Overall Value: 9/15

See ya one final time, with Scarox!

Compaired to the Breakout Rocka, this set is not great. But the pieces make it worth it I think :D

Quoting Legobob [DragonMaster627] Another good review ma friend. I don't like this set pretty much at all to be honest. Yeah, a few good parts, but it doesn't look good at all. I'm not getting this one.
Fair enough. He's far from the best. Thanks for commenting!
