Our new observer series, In this episode Bruce joins the team at Charlottesburg and West Legolands Air Ambulance. Time for introductions to the team on the Rapid response car was short, owing to a serious road accident in an industrial part of Charlottesburg City centre.

Controller : Hello police emergency.
Caller : Yeah theres been a road accident, on Morris road, by the scrapyard.
Controller : Ok can you describe the accident.
Caller : Theres two cars, and the drivers look really hurt! its all smashed up.
Controller : Ok, stay calm for me, the emergency services are on their way to you.
Ronnie : Hiya there, you must be Bruce, i'm Ronnie Paramedic with the bravo team today, This is Frankie he's the team clinical lead and our Doctor today, you'll stay with us for the next 2 shifts, thats the nights with the main rapid response car, and a day on the chopper, we'll head through to ED to introduce you to their team at some point.
Frankie : Theres your gear my man, i'd suit up before it all happens.
Beep, beep, beep, beep.
Frankie : Its a shout! Jinxed it
Ronnie : Morris Road, 2 car RTC, Fire, EMS and police in attendance.
Frankie : Come on lets go, you ready for this one Bruce.
Bruce : Just about...

The RRV arrives with the HEMS team.
Frankie : Whats the score
Paramedic : 2 males, driver in the Smarts got a nasty open fracture to the left femur, GCS is 15, pulse 110, BP 100 over 80. Other one GCS is 6, multiple query fractures, bleeding out somewhere, pulse is 150, BP 85 over 55.
Truck 1 to 10 Alpha, Crew in attendance, going to work.
Ronnie : You want to do an RSI now or?
Frankie : as soon as we can yes please.
Frankie: Ok i'm happy guys, take it off and we'll slide out on the board
Firefighter : Ok on 3, Everybody got a bit, 1 2 3...
Frankie : Ok guys steady, steady.
Frankie : Ok i'll go with this one, Ronnie can you get onto St Charlottes and get a team into recus, and take the car and Bruce back behind us.
Captain: Ok my guys! leave everything where it is until the police AIU are here ok.

Part 2 : These Patients arrive at the hospital and the Police attempt to piece together the accident, The night shift gets violent, and the team fight to save a young man after a night out goes terribly wrong.
