Space Shuttle w/ Crawler
Probably my biggest Lego project in a while, the Lego Space Shuttle Exploration, complete with the Crawler, a portable platform that transports various spacecraft.
About this creation

I made a few minor changes to the shuttle and rocket.

Shuttle changes

To start I added some landing gear hatches, however these must be removed when attaching the shuttle to the booster.

I've added flat tiles to the wings to make a smoother surface, and also a NASA sticker that I acquired from an old space play set.

The engine nozzles have also been modified to look more realistic.

And finally the crewman has an old visor from the 'Life on Mars' sets.

Booster Rocket

I swapped the tips of the rockets with the engines to make it closer to real life.

Crawler

This was relatively easy to make. However I had to add supports to withstand the weight of the rocket

The base of the Expedition set fits perfectly in the slot I made

:D A bonus photo for the Mass Effect fans out there, of the Normandy attached to the booster...

A launch tower is in the making, but I am scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of pieces, so it isn't guaranteed.

i reaaly like it, just one problem, the shuttle should be facing to the back of the crawler, so it can get into the pad, still cool!
