The floors can be taken off and are fully furnished.
About the real house:
It is an old farm house built in 1920 in the typical timber-framed way although you donīt see it on the outside.
We bought the house 2002 and renovated it 2005 without destroying its character.
I like to invite you to a tour through my Lego house. Sneak a peek into private and see how we live, look at the pictures and enjoy the tour:
Letīs get started outside the house.
This is the street view.
And here is the main entrance.
This is the view from our garden
and the back of the house with the side entrance.
Now letīs go inside:
We start in the basement:
This is our big messy storage room
and hereīs the laundry.
This is the best part of the basement, our vaulted cellar (another messy storage, but someday this will be a party place).
Ok, letīs go upstairs to the first floor:
Welcome to the living room (Say hello to my husband)
Between the living room and the dining room you can see the timber frame.
Here's the kitchen (notice my kitchen aid!)
now we go upstairs to the second floor, where the kids live
and this big mirror btw is a great tool to watch them from downstairs (!)
So, this is my little girl's room
and here's my little boy's.
My older son's teenie space
and my older daughter's room.
And now we come to the jewel of the house:
The studio under the roof (a kids free zone!)
This is where I am creative
and my husband's office.
