Well this is my second entry to the Middle Earth Lego Olympics. The category was a tough one and the uploader didnt help me any. It was lots of fun and it gave me a chance to try out forced perspective. On to the build, I thought since I made a book based creation last round this time I would try a movie based creation. Please take your time looking and pick up all the small details in the different sections. Thanks for viewing!
About this creation

Gandalf: Your move Sauruman.
Sauruman: Dont rush me Gandalf I must be wise.
Maby it is an ordinary chess game. It sure would save these gentlemen a lot of pain.
Just kidding I have more. (To let you know this was suppost to appear at the end uploader problems)
Category: Duel of the Graybeards. What do you get when you put two elderly gentlemen in a tower and hand them magical staffs? Its not your ordinary chess game I will give you that much. Now show us the rest.
Bracket: Barad dur

Sauruman: Smoke rises from the mountain of Doom, the hour grows late and Gandalf the grey rides to Isenguard seeking my council.

Sauruman: For that is why you have come is it not? Myold friend.

Gandalf: Sauruman...

Sauruman: You are sure of this?
Gandalf: Beyond any doubt.

Sauruman: So the ring of power has been found.
Gandalf: All these long years it was in the Shire, right under my very nose.

Sauruman: Yet you did not have the whit to see it. Your love of the Halflings leaf has clearly slowed your mind.
Gandalf: But we still have time, time to counter Sauron if we act quickly.
Sauruman: Time! What time do you think we have?

Sauruman: Sauron has regained much of his former strength. He can not yet take physical form but his spirit has lost none of its potencey.. Concealed within his fortress the lord of Mordor sees all. His gaze pierces cloud, shadow, earth, and flesh... You know of what I speak Gandalf a great eye breathed in flame!
Gandalf: The eye of Sauron...

Sauruman: He is gathering all evil to himself very soon he will have summoned an army great enough to launch an assult on Middle Earth.
Gandalf: You know this! How?
Sauruman: I have seen it.

Gandalf: A palantir is a dangerous tool Sauruman.
Sauruman: Why, why should we fear to use it?

Gandalf: They are not all acounted for, the lost seeing stones, we dont know who could be watching.

Sauruman: The hour is later than you think, Saurons forces are already moving. The Nine have left Minas Morgul.
Gandalf: The Nine...

Sauruman: They crossed the river Isen on mid summers eve, disguised as riders in black.
Gandalf: They have reached the Shire!
Sauruman: They will find the ring, and kill the one who carries it.

Gandalf: Frodo!

Door Slams!!

Door Slams!!

Door Slams!!

Sauruman: You did not seriously think that a Hobbit could contend with the will of Sauron, there are none who can. Against the power of Mordor there can be no victory... We must join with him Gandalf. We must join with Sauron.

Gandalf: Tell me, friend, when did Sauruman the wise abandon reason for madness!

Sauruman: HAA!!

Gandalf: HAA!!

Sauruman: HAA!!

Gandalf:HAA!!

Sauruman: I gave you the chance of joining me willingly, but you have elected the way of...

Sauruman: PAIN!!

Here are some backround shots of two of the sections. The forced perspective and the interior of Orthanc.

Well thats the end everyone, I hope you enjoyed it. I put a lot of work into this one and I hope it pays off. I want to wish my oponnent Linnea Stevens luck I am looking forward to your build. To the rest of you thanks for viewing and remember constructive criticism is always appreciated. Again thanks,

While Linnea had an extraordinarily clever entry, I think yours wins the day on merit of build. You've got my vote. |

You get my vote. Although your opponent had a great use for a boat, you present a clean build with great techniques and a forced perspective to boot! |

Perfection! This is easily one of the best entries yet. I love the forced perspective in the first shot; all that work for one photo. The whole MOC is well designed and I like that you performed the whole scene (albeit with a few words missing here and there) but it IS more than one build, I.M.O. The interior is just flawless and I love the custom doors. Great job and good luck! |

Epic FP in the beginning, that shot alone might give you a victory here! Truly stunning! Great shaping on Saruman's throne room, too. |

The shape of the throne room is well-oriented. Sauran's eye was also pretty nifty! ~Ryan |

Hey Justin, lovely entry mate. It seems like more than one build though. We'll let you get away with it this time (as you were probably thinking along the lines of "one scene" in the film), but please refrain from having so many sections in the future (if you make it). Thanks!
Thanks for the second chance. Im sorry, I really didnt know it was an issue. |
