Hey again everyone! Well, as I said on Flickr, I'm going to start to build more Japanese cars this year to improve my building skills and have a change from the rods that I've been building very, very often lately! LOL! Anyway, so to start off here's a 1990 Mazda RX-7 FC3S! I've built only one other Japanese car before and that was a pick-up, so it's good to start building some import/JDM cars for a change. My FC is full of detail and modifications but from the exterior it doesn't look too different from a standard one, but that was on purpose because I like the 'sleeper' look on JDM cars. The 'sleeper' term is used for cars that look stock from the outside but are full of high performance mods in the engine and sometimes in the interior. My FC features chrome rims and a larger exhaust system, pop up headlights, opening doors, boot/trunk and removable hood, heaps of gauges, bucket race seats, a roll cage, removed rear seat, fuel cell in the boot, hand brake, gear stick, all the usual. Under the hood though, is the greatest engine I've ever made! It's a fully chromed single turbocharged 13B Rotary engine! I spent ages trying to get all the necessary details into it. The engine in this FC is my favourite part by far! I hope you all like it! Stay tuned for more Japanese cars to come soon! Thanks everyone!

before I forget; try to post big, the pages performance makes it a chore to click them, try to narrate between pics as opposed to a big brick of text, once I get at the pics, I forget the specs, the concept of making a car stock, and add on it on more posts is brilliant, I d like to see that, REQUEST; since you live in australia, and I love your cars there, I d like an australian exclusive some day, make it an el camino car, you know, half car, half pick up? I really dig those! this car is great, I once had a cranked 93 civic si coupe, black, as the 1rst 'fast and furious' civics, Iloved it, with an acura integra engine boosted, it rocked! unfortunately, in quebec, cars rust a lot faster, and the floor died, too much money to invest and a teft attempt led me to give it to the insurances for scrap...people used to ask what my car was, nobody ever guessed it was a civic, it tells the tale on how much I changed the look, so yeah, I love cars, and this one too, can t wait for your next project! good luck!
Thanks mate! Awesome, it sounds like your Civic was fantastic! I'll probably build another Ausssie car sometime in the future, when I get more time, and I'll make it what we call a ute and I'll modify it heaps! Thanks again mate! |

Great work on this. It is great to see you work outside of your comfort zone but still retain your style. The shape and details are excellent as usual. Looking forward to more from you. |
