My entry for a contest over at Piece Out.
About this creation
Well, not too much to say today. Amazing considering my strange capacity to talk... But, anyhoot, let's continue. Apologies for the bad photos, it was not the best day.
Link to Piece Out.

Height comparison with Malia. And apparently... Bunny ears... *facedesk*

Hurgh?

Oh crud... Wait! Don't--!

*shink*

Oh bugger...

*thud*

*crash*

And there goes another one... Dad gummit.
Wait... Did you hear that?

*clatter of bones*

Man. These things really don't die. Oh well, may as well take advantage of this.

Height comparison with Kesef. Dang... He is short! I'm going to have to update him soon.

Rrrrrr...
Oh no...
*crash*
WELP! That's the end folks!
*ominous explosion*
-.-
Creator's Comments: ..... I really have to stop making MOCs that hate each other... -.-
Anyhoot, the challenge was to make a video game inspired MOC. With my many years of playing Legend of Zelda, the Stalfos was an obvious choice. (Don't be fooled. I already failed at two attempts towards the little green cyclops monsters from Rayman 2 and the crocodile enemies from Donkey Kong 64.) *ehem* I'm talking here! Go bother someone else for an hour or two! Now, where was I? Ah, yes. These guys are my favorite enemy from the Zelda series, as they always gave me a good challenge, and allowed me to practice my skills. I based this one off of the Stalfos from the Ocarina of Time, on the nintendo 64. I did fail in a couple of places, such as not having the blue gloves or shoulder armor, but I am at least mediumly happy with how this turned out.
This guy was incredibly fun to pose though, and he has since been destroyed and turned into your average skeleton thing which is also a posing dream. I might post that some day. Doubt it.
Anyhoot, that's all I have for today.
Thanks for viewing! :)

Simple. Build the coolest MOC you can think of that I might like, and, if it's cooler than the other MOCs, you win. As for the reward, I can make you either an administrator or a moderator. The decision of becoming an administrator or a moderator is your choice. In Imagination Paradise, build cool MOCs, take your time, and just have fun! |

Oh, don't doubt yourself. Besides, if you don't win the first time, I'm kind enough to give second chances. Also, it's not how fast you build them, it's how cool your MOCs will look that I reward people for their hard work. Build MOCs, take your time, and have fun! Please make some of the coolest MOCs you can think of. Make me proud! XD Well, thank you, but I must say, I'm confused. If there is no time limit, how does one win? O,o

I could tell it was from OoT immediately. Great job, it's always cool to see good Zelda MOCs.
Thanks LO. :) |

Epic. Win. Stalfos are also my favorite LoZ enemies. I just like the ones from Skyward Sword better than the Stalfos from OoT.
I think the ones from Skyward Sword certainly look better, but I grew up with these, and I personally think that these provide a different kind of challenge than the ones from Skyward Sword do. Thanks though :) |

Sort of ghost train dummy-ish. Find him really quite creepy.
Lol, well, he wasn't supposed to be flowers and lollipops. I'm glad he comes off as creepy though. Adds a bit of the original element these guys had to me. |

A great entry to the Piece Out contest, Gale.
I should probably keep most of my critiques for when the judging starts, but I have to say that I really like this MOC, you've done well in recreating the Stalfos from the game. And you shouldn't worry a lot about the shoulders, making an exact version isn't the whole point of the contest. Also, don't forget to link to the MOC in the entry thread ;)
*tail hangs between legs* there is an entry thread? XD oopsies. I'll put it in there in a sec. Thanks Marko :) |

Very nice. It's obvious why he's so thin... he's a skeleton... is he? Anyway, if you join the Imagination Paradise group, you may be one of the lucky winners for building the coolest MOCs. There's no deadline, no time limit, take your time, build, and have fun!
Umm, thanks I think lol. I doubt I'd win any prizes for the coolest MOC, but I appreciate the flattery :) |

Hmm... Something... Something is strange on this MOC. I searched some pictures of the Stalfos and compared them with the MOC, and, if it's true that some little color details are missing (as you said, blue on the shoulders, for example; on the hands aren't important since the Skyward Sword version don't have gloves), it's probably the most closest version I have and will have ever seen. The legs and arms have nice designs, as well as the weapons are perfect: well-developed but being simple too. The prize goes to the torso: is beautiful. Not only the skirt, which I love with all my soul (it compensates the disappointment of a new design from Nathan on Clementine =P), but the ribcage idea and the shoulders' design. However, I have a strange sensation of something is strange with this guy... Well, who cares. Great job, my dear Gale, great job! (P.S: I didn't realize the link of Malia's upgrades on the last creation; although I still don't like that head design I can't say she's not perfect now!) Lol, I did this from memory sadly enough XD And the blue on the hands was actually kind of important to me, given as how I was remaking that specific version. I though about doing this and the version from Twilight Princess, but didn't have enough pieces. I'm glad you like the torso and skirt, those were my favorite parts too lol. I'm not quite sure what is strange about this, but I accept that as a challenge to remake this guy some day, and make it better >:3 I'm glad you like Malia's updates too, even if the head doesn't "float your boat" as they say lol. Thanks L.A. :)
