the construction team s location project with paul beach
About this creation
This is the construction team s location,
it s the only location in Cybercity I did nt define
way before I build it.
the purpose of such a team-location,
is to repair-build structures and facilities in this sector,
it includes Cybercity, but, also the other small cities around
by urban civil GF contract.
A ciment factory seemed the most logical location
for that purpose, although, I d like to know better about;
TRANSPORT-DEPLOYMENT of the crane,
I did nt define the crane s stand, but, it s crucial in the concept,
as it will be used to repair attacks done in story mode...
this city, but, also as help for other cities.
I have a semi transport with crane, and a big mobile crane,
hopefully enough for the task.
Paul beach has offered help for design and challenge,
his work is interesting, as he s comfortable with
system-technics in his style, function is important in this project,
art is fine, but, it has to work, or closest possible made of lego.
it s also a niche he seems to like, and so do I.
In this pic, you can see all the elements of the team...

the biggest challenge in my opinion...the train tracks....
I unfortunately had to do this,
as I needed the trains to gain momentum to cross the bridge,
and better manage 2 trains at the same time,
it s impossible without external tracks....
it s also to have extra options in stories...
the sidewalks have to remain as well.
we can however go vertical.

I have a new ciment truck, it s modified, but, lightly,
the functions were very well tought of,
I mainly changed some colors, and added character on the front,
and tool racks.

I bought the new orange towing plate truck,
I wanted the dark red car,
and needed the orange roof panel for my road train.
I polished my own plated towing,
as it s system is best,
although I used the side panels decals
to polish it further.

I have this semi to transport all construction team s elements,
I estimate it good for crane transport.

A crane, and 'rock breaker' to make ciment are the only 'fixed' elements
of this location, note the crane basic base design to improve.

the location has 6 plates in total, but, it has tracks in it, and sidewalks to respect.
roofs for protection of equipment is considered, as I have lots of dynamite...

here is the construction s team s office for plans and meetings,
the generator for powering equipment,
and the small trailer mixer.
THE COLOR CODE...
the color code is yellow-black,
it should nt be more than 4 colors.
I have all greys in small quantity,
I m good in yellow and black.

LOOK!!!
mr freeze s got aquaman!

Since there are no dogs in the oceans,
sharks are men s best friends...

I could have added the cargo train here, but, it would have obstructed the view,
the passenger train is 12' wide, so, tracks need 14' wide clearance.
or they will make contact...

The reason why aquaman was nt a fav of mine....
their stories where.....unrealistic!

but, there is hope......
the cantine has arrived! lol!
of course big sharks eat a lot!!!!

CREATOR S LOG;
I really appreciate any help,
I m currently at work finishing the public station,
I missed red and white material,
and had to shop, my task was nt made any easier by the unavaillability of
the perfect kit for this; 'builders of tomorow'
so I patch with best I can...

Impressive scene and details. All those vehicles really bring out the industrial atmosphere here. Nice crane too.

Another thoroughly considered aspect of Cybercity life. With everything that happens there, these guys will surely be needed. Love the crane! |

This is completely different from the other pics I was using as a guide, shocked. I thought it was just a regular old curve on a corner of your layout, CF; I told you about the track crossing, it s the same as the cargo train post, I m sorry I could nt explain better, cram a plant into the smallest place possible kinda thing? CF; yeah, lol, like my freight depot, Anyways, I'm going to re-think this whole thing. Here I go... Are those 32x32 base plates? CF; yes! Is all of the equipment going to be stored here? CF; I don t think it s possible, but, some storage depot maybe? a few vehicles, Do the trains require 14' of vertical clearance? CF; maybe more... I don t remember, it s noted in my passenger s post, Are one of these tracks a dead end spur? CF; a spur?... the tracks are connected to the freight depot, or outside the city...This should be a given, the wheel loader, a dump truck, and the mixer, WILL be your operating assets. I'm glad you came to me and I will make this work. CF; that s the spirit!!!
It takes 17' high clearance paul! |
