Didn't it seem a little suspicious that the Bohrok queens, Cahdok and Gahdok, never mentioned the BOHROK KING? Back from banishment and wickedly hungry, is the Bohrok King
About this creation

Side

Profile

Revamp includes wings, tail, and missile launchers among others

The awesome snapping jaw mechanism from Cahdok and Gahdok

You squeeze the handle, the neck shoots out and the jaws snap at the last second

From behind

A thing of Bionicle beauty

Face

BK: SO HUNGRY!!!

BK: Little fool! don't you know I eat Matoran for breakfast?

And no, that is not a figure of speech...mmm...tastes like Rahi

Good *munch* Bye

Fourth Wall Commentary: This is my rendition of what a Bohrok King would look like based on the Bohrok queen design of Cahdok and Gahdok . I always loved those kits and revamping the queens, made me appreciate how awesome Bionicle kits were from the early days when there was a lot more Technic elements. These toys could actually fight one another and they were so fun. Tell me what you think. Piece Out!

Looks ok and a nice concept idea to have a 'King Bohrok' but it's a bit 'gangly' and has an inordinate amount of gaps in it, even compared to the original Bahrag. Hmmmm, might have to put my own take on this, MY BOHROK SHALL HAVE A LEADER!!!

Quoting Lego Obsessionist It does need filling in, but nevertheless it looks really cool and fun. Well done!
I wonder, the section near the tail is the trigger for making the head jump out, Is that the part that doesn't seem filled in to people??

While he seems a little bare-bones, overall this is a pretty great MOC. Nice that you included the mechanism from the original queens.

This is very impressive. The Bohrok Queens were one of my first sets, alas they are now totally destroyed beyond all hope of repair. One complaint, he needs some more bulk if he is to be king. Still, very impressive.

Man, you've been Bohrok-BaNANas lately! =) That head cuts a very nice profile shot (and the fact that the 'snap'-mechanic works makes it even cooler. I kindof got a clockwork-beast vibe from the presence of the larger cogwheels and elastic rigging. Nice work, Cheers!

Thanks Jacob. I think I have Bohroks out of my system for the time being. Vahki anyone? :{D

Cool build!

Nice tribute to the years of olde. He needs more filling in with armor though, and the old head looks too small for a modern build.

Nice rendition, not sure what's going on with the pics though. :P

You managed to somehow recreate those old building techniques the Queens used... BTW, no Hero Factory limbs "blood" this time?!?

The early days were the best. Kids used to bring their best sets to school and battle during recess. The winner got some pieces from the loser too. Ahh, those were the days. But anyway, this is awesome Nate. I do feel it's kind of small and thin for such a title, but in a way, it is fitting of him. Epic work Nate! :)

Very good concept, and the wings make this guy look very menacing! I would have tried to fill out the neck, legs, and body a bit more, though. The Queens look slightly heavier than this guy, and as a king I think he should be builkier.

Quoting Toa Infernum Wow! So cool! Looks like it'd be so fun to play with. I always wanted the queen's set, but by the time I got into Bionicle the Piraka were being sold. :(. I have managed to pick up the Manas set, and those are SO cool. :)
Yeah for Christmas a few years ago I got ALL obsessed with the early Rahi and got Muaka and Kane-ra, Cahdok and Gahdok, and the Manas kits. They were still around on Ebay and not crazy priced. The Manas were hysterical to play with. Good times!

Quoting Chronos Omega The function and frame is cool, but honestly this feels very incomplete to me. Perhaps it's just the side view showing off all the gappiness, but the torso specifically seems quite empty. Maybe some simple armoring, or...?
I see what you're getting at, but I was staying true to the Technic-y nature of those early Rahi, and this is a revamp after all. Most of the early Rahi had mechanical gimmicks that had a lot of exposed Technic liftarms and gears. In other words, it wasn't by accident. Thought you might want to know.

I agree with some of the other comments, the build just feels empty. Compared to the queens, the king is pretty poorly armored. Still cool though so 3/5
