This Hobbit is no certain person; he's just a happy old geezer who is enjoying his day.
First off, I just wanted to say thank you Ian and the other judges. This has been a wonderful contest so far and it's only gotten better. So a big thanks for hosting it!
This build was a fairly quick one. After finishing up my entries for the CCCX, I really didn't have to much time to build. So it's a blessing that I managed to whip this up in time. Good luck fellow competitors! =D
Thanks for viewing and God Bless!
Oh. My. GOSH!!! This is simply amazing! I love the door, and, well...Everything! I've always wanted to build a hobbit hole and this is very inspiring! I won't copy it though :D... Once again, great build!
Across MOCpages! My my, well done Justin! A fabulous build!! The hill is perfectly done, and the hole and little accessories outside are very well done! I honestly can't see any flaws with this! Great job Justin!!!
Excellent work on the sloped roof, though that "old geezer" doesn't look like he's enjoying his day to me ;) All kidding aside, though, great job! I had similar time constraints and know how rough it can be to turn out an entry at all, let alone one like this. So a big congrats on the awesome build and good luck!
I've got to say, great job with the grass going up a hill! It is really well done, it has the feel of the house really under ground cut out from a hill. It's not just a house with grass growing on the sides and above, the hill was there first! Great!
Wow a great Hobbit hole! I would say the best one I have seen. I say that because of your great looking hill. The foliage you put around it gives it some great texture. Your entrance is great as well your door design was also fantastic! Just an overall well done job. Good luck in the games! :)
GEEZ! This is really top-notch. I usually don't like the "hundreds of grass" technique but it compliments the hobbit hole perfectly. I love the skeletonfoot+pot mailbox and the studded soffit+fascia roof overhang looks amazing. A lot of good details in this build. Great job and good luck with the contest!
