My entry to the 3rd and final round of Banjaxx's Inhabitant's contest! The category was character.

About this creation

Before I forget, the lightsaber eye idea belongs to Banjaxx and the foot design is Shadowgear's. :)
Here's a story I made up for him:
Delirus heard the sounds before he felt the blast. “What was that?” Delirus asked his matoran friend Zalon.
“I don’t know, probably nothing,” Said Zalion back. They walked outside. It was a plain, sunny day. A regular day like any other, but with a cold, biting wind, the like of which is rarely felt on Spherus Manga. Outside the other matoran looked puzzled, apparently also hearing the sounds. The noises sounded far off. They sounded like horrible wailing being carried by the chilled winds.
“Hey, Zalion,” said Delirus.
“Yeah,” replied Zalion.
“How about you climb up that building and see what’s making that sound?” said Delirus with a smile on his face, knowing that was just what the young Ta-matoran wanted. Zalion smiled back at the older, gentler Le-matoran. He walked through the busy streets of New Ko- Metru. Delirus pointed out a tall building with a lot of windows. Zalion dodged through a crowd of scholarly Ko-matoran and reached the building. Zalion gave Delirus a last smile before starting to climb the observatory building. He quickly climbed the tower like a professional, as he did climb both buildings and mountains for fun.
Suddenly Zalion let out a scream, almost falling of the tower. “Fire! The generators are on fire!” he screamed. Chaos broke out on the streets. Ko-matoran dropped their books and ran, the orderly streets became a mess.
Delirus tried to reach his friend, only to be pushed to the ground by fleeing matoran. “Zalion!” he yelled. Zalion turned around. “Delirus!” he yelled back.
Suddenly fire burst though the air as the nuclear power generators exploded in a giant cloud of dust, fire, and stone. The tower Zalion was on top of got ripped to pieces as the explosion thundered though the city, ripping though building and throwing matoran like bugs. Delirus was thrown backwards, colliding with a building.
Delirus felt his eyes start to slide closed. In the last corners of his blurred eyesight he saw something glowing fly through the air. He caught it in his hand. He felt an immense power flowing through his body. He felt himself grow stronger and transform into a strong toa! He punched a large flying piece of debris and watched with fascination as it shattered into hundreds of pieces. He doubled over as he felt an odd pulse in his brain.
He saw Zalion, trapped under a fragment of a building. “Help…” said Zalion weakly. Suddenly a rahi the scholars had been analyzing ran out of its containment cell, which had been powered down by the blast. Delirus watched in horror as the rahi ran towards his friend. He jumped in front of the rahi. He punched the rahi’s jaw and watched as the beast lumbered off. “Thanks!” said Zalion as Delirus freed him.
Delirus was surprised to find his hand ripping through the air to grab Zalion’s neck. “What are you doing?!” said Zalion. SNAP! Delirus watched in horror as he let Zalion’s dead body drop to the ground. He was even more surprised to find he liked it. He felt savagery pour into his mind. “That toa stone you grabbed must have been corrupted by the radiation from the blast!” said a Ko-matoran. Delirus quickly ‘disposed’ of the matoran. He looked at his armor, which was grey because the blast rubbed off the paint. Hmm, I could get used to the apocalypse, he thought to himself with a smile as he walked away from the bloodbath and life behind him.

Creator's Comments:
Love this guy! It was actually fun to photograph this guy! I got a new phototaking area, used a tripod, and this guy is super fun and easy to pose. I love this guy. I love how he turned out! I was going to greeble him up more but I ran out of time.

The armoring and greebles in the arms and upper body are really powerful looking. I think people would feel iffy about the legs, but I have build mocs where I used some blocky looking legs. On this guy, it works, and the lower legs complete it with the rahkshi foot armor ! :D Great job ;)

Quoting Onewa7 Master of Stone Nice! I like the greebly build. The cape is well chosen, so is the mask. However, it's kinda annoying that the mask is the only shiny piece in the MOC. Still, good job!

Thanks for the comment! There's one other shiny piece (on his right arm( I could only find 2 shiny pieces)).

Have to agree with Chro story wise, but the build is pretty awesome. Love the arms though I don't see deadly hugs as being too effective an attack ;)
