I remember visiting some friend's of my parent's house when I was about... 4 I think. The older boy who lived there (whom I didn't know) was a "Lego guy." He showed me his collection and allowed me to play with him. That was my first introduction to Lego that I can remember and your creations brought those memories flooding back. Thank you. And great work! ~ Chris. |

WOH DUDE Spin back the clock and get a time warp happening. ELBARTO said the words as I looked at the first image. Love it all. I think you may need a flux capacitor to get you back again. FANTASTIC.
Hehe, no hope for me, I'm stuck in the 80's!

Wow, really enjoyed this absolute feast of CS eye candy, cheers Parrington! 004 and 007 would have been must-buys, but I'd have wanted them all :)
Hehe, ah yes, very cs, and very few parts. They'd have been cheap I imagine. |

Just came back to admire these on a bigger screen. I recently looked through my old instruction books, going back to the 70's--Yikes! These are all certainly within the parameters of those sets with some killer upgrades. And new episode, too, by the way. Awesome collection, Dude! |

These are awesome Parrington! I LOOOOVVVEE the PL007! That thing is perfect. But the others are all oozing classic space style. A great collection you have here.
Cheers Shanno, yes the 007 was made in mind of barely using more than 100 pieces while getting some bang for buck. I was amazed that could be done with 115 elements. |

Really, really solid work on all of these! Good job! It's rough and ready with all the studs showing, but it's classic nonetheless! Keep up the good work! -Ultra |

Wow, why waste your time with single creations!? Just build your own entire collecton! Really sweet stuff, buddy. I'd put every single set on my whishlist! ~Cheers, long live GAIA - no wait - CS!
-Hehe, exactly, more bang for the view this way, I feel like I let you guys down if I do too little on a Moc these days. Thus my next GAIA saga ep may take a loooong time to complete, cos i just want it to destroy anything I've done before. Long live GAIA!!! |

I so agree. CS is what kept me coming back to it no doubt. Great minds:DD |

This is a brilliant little collection. I'm glad to see that just because the Internet access has been reduced the building continues. 008 has to be my favourite, it feels like a really cool pocket money set scaled up to the mid-range. But overall so many wonderful little touches across all of these - great stuff!
Cheers Dave, yes, I'm looking forward to the day when my finances stop holding me back! Cheers mate :) |

Mate... I've got a big smile right now, after looking at all those wonderful CS ! Can't decide which one I prefer, they're all so awesome ! Might be the PL8 though, as you don't do ground vehicles that often, and this one rocks. PLEASE do another compilation whenever you want :-D
Hehe, so good to see you around again these days Crimso :) It's funny, I thought you'd fave the 004 - good point about the rarity of my land vehicle builds. Not sure why I steer clear of them really, just seems like flyers offer more room for imagination? That said, I have always wanted to do one BIG land vehicle. One of these days... Cheers mate, and I'll certainly have another CS moc in the works soon, as I'm sure you will also :) |

These are sweet PL! You've been busy! I hope to post my entry in the next couple of days... it's Classic Space... and then some... of course... hee, hee! Never having played at length with this theme as a kid, I'm getting a real education from all of you... this was great! Thanks! :)
hehe, that should be good to see :) Yes, it seems the Gen Xers on this site are generally all CS savvy. It was a real theme, unique to the brand itself, not like their movie themes these days. Seemingly, it remains the artists' duty to keep good stuff alive while less worthy stuff gets promoted in the never ending search for better profits... |

Fun collection, Chief! They should bring back this stuff, 'Vintage Lego' or something. Awesome!
Tell me about. CS offered the best bang for buck cos of its unique scaling and style. Take my 002 for example, the ship itself is only 289 pieces, could be on the shelf for 40 bucks? |
