About this creation

Happy New Year, everyone!

Wow, it's been awhile since I've made a brickfilm, so I'm always looking for opportunities to brush up on some practice. Because I hope to be apart of the film/"Imagineering" industry, I find it important to always expand my abilities with new techniques and technology.

I've been recently experimenting with my Sony Vegas editing software, and stumbled upon 3D video. After recently just seeing The Hobbit in theaters in the new 48 fps rate, I was inspired to make a LEGO test using Anaglyphic 3D with red/cyan glasses.

Please let me know what I do to improve! I am always learning, so constructive criticism is always appreciated :)

Clever idea! I have 3D glasses and tried it. You should consider filming in HD. It would not only boost the film quality but would enhance the 3D effect. Keep experimenting! I can't wait to see a plotted film like this!

Quoting David . Awesome! I just happen to have glasses laying around from a lego club magazine a few years ago! If I were you, the 3D dulls the colors, so I would exaggerate the colors in editing if you could. :D

I noticed the dullness too as soon as I added the 3D effect, so I'll definitely look to make things brighter in the future if that's possible without ruining the effect. Thanks for the input :)
