Matthias H created the Christmas car contest, and for this contest I asked myself a question that a lot of MOCers asked to thereselfs, frankly: What would be the replacement of Santa's sleigh? I decided it should be a pick-up truck, because why not? It has 4x4 for in the snow, they are pretty comfortable because of the good suspension, and they have a big trunk to put presents in! But which?... I though immeadiatly: Ford. F150? Too small. F350? Mwoah... F650? :0 no, to big! The conclusion came when I saw a F150 SVT Raptor driving. It is quite large, but not too silly-large and quite pretty, too. And good to replicate in LEGOģ. But now stop the talk and present the build!
Backside. The taillights could be solved in one way (IMO), and the ''brick''-1x2's came out really handy!
Interior. I could only fit two figs toghether if I ruined the design. And one fig is enough, because, well, it's Santa! ;)
Reindeers are outdated. V8 engines are the new power of Santa's ''sleigh''!
The presents can fit in the trunk, I said you it's a big trunk! When you pile some up it can fit more ;)
Leuk idee, zeg.
