hello and welcome to this special event!
today is the official unveil of the new ALTA-5 super inter-continental train.
NEWS L;
as you can see the security level is at it s highiest here,
because some of the most important GLOBAL FEDERATION figures will be present.
NEWS L;
there will be no disruptions or agitators here today.
NEWS L;
the local buisnesses can operate as usual in total security,
NEWS L;
bystanders have a nice spectacle to look at.
NEWS L;
some come from around...
NEWS L;
others from a lot farther.
NEWS L;
things are tough all over this season.
we can see when a street vendor has experience,
he was quick to get water to these dogs who snatched themselves a snack,
he would nt want them to get sick or choke,
as he would be in trouble with the a.d.u.

overall quite a beautiful day,
I will introduce you to the most important people that will get here.

the tourists are inpatiently waiting, tickets in hands,
eating a few popsicles eager to ride the new train,
NEWS L;
re-conditionned candidates on trial are loading the cargo wagon,
if they make good time, they will not have to walk back to GLOBOLOPOLIS.

the roads are blocked, and controls are done to screen the zone.
NEWS L;
a command vehicle is posted, to coordinate security.
NEWS L;
the rockstar bus is good indication that mr harris is already near..

ah! there he is!
and with miss selena, she does nt usually make public apearances,
it must be important.

oh, just heard, she is the one baptising the supertrain,
that explains her presence here!

the obligatory salute to MEEDASS
who lived by the motto; BE STRONG...OR DRINK THE JUICE!

the crowd and officials enthousiasticly welcome them at the stand with flowers!

the new GF army commander is here,
word has it he is geneticly enhanced...

gf corporate agents are always present when money is involved.

miss selena is making her speach...
I was informed it was personnal, and not to intrude...

I may inform you on that train in the meanwhile,
it s maximum speed is about 400 kmh, it is armored,
and operated by 2 men, CENTRAL can also take control,
it can travel from one end of the continent to the next,
in about 3 hrs, faster than a race car!

it can carry 20 passengers in luxury,
tickets are expensive, about $400 for a go.
NEWS L;
it is powered by 2 super turbines, wich breathes in the front intakes,
it is solar powered by panels installed on the roof,
and by operation.
NEWS L;
it is composed of 5 sections,
2 locomotives
2 passengers wagons
and 1 cargo-mail wagon.
NEWS L;
it will be a new safer way to travel,
NEWS L;
we remember what happened to the last train,
attacked by pirates, completely destroyed,
all passengers killed or missing...
NEWS L;
this new train is armored, and will not be stopped as easily.
NEWS L;
the federation has also invested heavily in armor
NEWS L;
the new command vehicle, fighters, artillery,
the pirates or gangs won t have it so easily now...
NEWS L;
the federation keeps on sending sattelites to track the other factions,
it s a question of time until they completely control alta-5.
NEWS L;
ah! there! miss selena has smashed the bottle!
the supertrain is baptized...SUPER ANDERSOL XL-5!!!

I have converted the passenger train,
now, I have to post the new recycling facility wich is finished in and out!
THEN.. I have to convert the CARGO train to 8'
and I ll ask advice from a man on the field.

Great presentation! Very nice to get a look at some of the other fine vehicles in your city too. I agree, that rocket tranport is cool - and so is the VIP bus :-) I like the army-stuff too, that small armored 3-axled vehicle is awesome, and so are those AA guns on the tracked vehicle! |

Fantastic train design, looks so fast. I really loved that truck trailer with the twin rockets on it, that just looked sick! You are gonna need to buy a block of land to layout this cybercity spread one day, lol.... |

Super cool train! I love the front locomotive! Its very nice with the white/red combo! I cant wait till' tomorrow morning to build the Red Cargo train with my little brother! Lego trains are the best! Now my only question! Is it powered by power functions? |
