It's that time of the year again! Secret Santa 2012 in full effect!

About this creation

A yearly tradition for the past three years, my LUGmates and I have swapped MOCs. Every year we draw a random name and then send our recipient a special MOC created just for them. It makes for a much more personable gift than a random set. This year I received a mini-scale version of my Smolny Cathedral. What a treat!!!

I was really touched when I opened the package and saw what was inside. Honestly, to have someone feel that my build deserved a tribute such as this is a true honor!

The attention to detail is second to none!

I had planned to do a micro-scale version myself....but why bother now!!!! :P It's perfect!

It even lights up!!!

I was truly honored to receive such a wonderful gift, and just like in years past I plan on keeping this one built indefinitely! Thank you very much Secret Santa for such a great gift!

Can you guess who was my Secret Santa this year? Here's a hint....it's someone different from years past.

Wow! That turned out great. Sure would have been a lot easier for you to transport this to BW, tinstead ;) Hmmm....I agree with Chris, most likely Stacy.

Smolny Cathedral... about minifig scale: done. Mosaic: done. Microscale: done. Miniland scale: we're still waiting! ;) It's beautiful, and I have no idea who did that...
