Here's my entry to the Christmas Contest 2012 (see link below). As you can see, this is a Star Wars Christmas vignette but it's not THE battle of Hoth. The troops are armed with snow guns instead of deadly ones. It's a snowball fight between a few friends.
About this creation
This is my contest entry for the Christmas Contest 2012 . I hope you like it and rate and comment if you want :)

It seems that the rebel trooper has got a present for his friend :)

The imperial AT-AT pilot. We'll come back on him later.

An imperial canon waiting for some fun...

The pathway. Like 80% of SNOT. I've used some cheese slopes to make a pattern of arrows.

Some dishes which are multifunctional, actually. You'll see :)...

The removable 9X10 vignette.

A picture which gives you a closer look at the lighting system. You can see its lever.

Another picture of the entire MOC but from a different corner.

This is a very important part of this MOC: Here's a video which shows you what the power functions do and how they work (in exactly 45 seconds)

Here are some pictures of its 'interior'. I used some tiles to cover the studs where the cables are.

Another picture of the removable vignette.

The AT-AT driver has a snow canon (THE SNOW WARS).

His back. He also carries a 'backpack' which is filled with snow so he doesn't have to reload his weapon that often.

The final picture which shows that I've used the legs of a space policeman. I like them so much! You can use them for almost all sci-fi and modern military minifigures.

That's all for now! I'm building another contest entry right now (for another contest) but I think I'll upload it when I've got my Christmas PAB order because I don't have enough 2X2 tiles. I wish good luck to the other contestants and merry Christmas to everybody :)

this is just superb. 5/5, you have put so much detail into such a small space. Really amazing work, please continue to build more works like this.

Quoting The LCreator Wow, the scene itself was already brillaint but when I saw the power functions I was just speechless! I myself am probably the worst technician that ever existed so it always amazes me when people like you manage to create such impressive things, Fantastic work!
It was only the 2nd or 3rd I tried 'em ;) I'm sure that everybody can use power functions!

When I first saw this, it looked so awesome! So much NPU! Now that I see all the little motors and lights, it really steps this MOC up a few notches! So so awesome and very inspiring, I must try some of this motor stuff!

Quoting Kenton Lanier Thanks for participating in the Christmas Contest! First off, I'm not a Start Wars fan, but this is a great build! 5/5 for originality/creativity. Great idea, and well executed. 10/10 for build quality. First I see some nice techniques (SNOT, footprints, clean border, etc.), then it actually moves, too?! The functional aspect of the build is really what put it over the top. 4/5 for presentation. The photos are clear and the background clean - maybe just a little brighter would be nice. Total score = 19/20. Fantastic job!

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist 5/5 for originality. Star Wars plus power functions plus a snowball fight equals creativity in my books. Brilliant idea. 10/10 for build. Honestly, I can't reasonably expect better. There are some great techniques here, especially in the designs of the turret and walkway area. The landscaping is great, and I like the footprints. The base itself is well done with a good mix of regular and grill bricks, and of course the power functions are the unexpected icing on the cake. To tell the truth, I don't think that I could do better. 4/5 for presentation. Good work, though a bit more lighting would be welcome. Total: 19/20 Awesome work on this, not much more to say really. All the best in the new year!
Awesome! Never expected that such great builders would give me those high points!
