MELO R1: Ambush on Osgiliath
This is a creation I made, entered to the 'LEGO The Lord Of The Rings' building challenge. Hope you enjoy the creation. The fell beast was really difficult to create. The brickbending wall took forever because it kept exploding. Sorry for the lame photos! I started making this creation in early July, and ended in Mid-August.
About this creation
The fell beast was awesome to make, but difficult as well. It kept falling apart.
Sorry that the ruins are so monotone. I didn't have a chance to change some up, unfortunately

I really enjoyed working on the dome and the ruins.

I hope you enjoy Ambush on Osgiliath!Valete nunc enim!

I love the way that you've used the Death Star part as a grey, stone dome and how it fits too!

Quoting Ian Spacek Congratulations! You've made it to Round 2 of the Middle Earth Lego Olympics: http://mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=18639&topicid=87057 (try and keep it to just one base-plate in the coming round, or at least have them connected).
Thanks! Yeah. I like working with baseplates anyway.

Quoting Matthew Oh I love the detail! I love how the build is separate parts, and the nazgul is great! Best of luck!

Quoting David . Awesome! The dome particularly caught my eye and since I watched the T.T yesterday I recocnized it! Good luck fellow!
Thank you! I had a hard time deciding whether or not to add the dome when I was creating this set, but in the end, I did, and really enjoyed creating it!

Quoting Ian Spacek I didn't mean HTML in general, you need to add a html LINK to the MELO homepage. Something tells me that you need to go re-read the contest rules, it might save you some points. ;)
Okay...I think this is what you mean (above). I am rereading the rules. Immediately. Thanks.

Quoting Ian Spacek You seem to be missing the required HTML link for an MELO entry. Here's your mercy reminder! Please take advantage of it and make the necessary edits (otherwise we'll have to DQ points). If you're not familiar with HTML format, head over to the "rules" thread, there is an update providing information on how to create working links. Also, are the different builds all part of the same scene? This is a little boarder-line on the "one build" rule.
Yeah. Sorry about the missing HTML. I added some in above. Each seperate part is for the Ambush on Osgiliath model, no seperate themes along with it! Thanks for warning me!

Quoting A M Great job! The ruined feel is conveyed very well, and the fell beast turned out great. I love the curved wall in the ruins and the way it seems to be collapsing, as well. Awesome.
Thank you! I really like designing it. I just posted a Battle of Wits today
