About this creation
Happy days, my Self-Moc version 1 is completed!

EDIT: See version 2, a massive improvement, here!: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/353398

Bio:
Name:Lexin
Race:Le-Toa
Alignment:Chaotic Good
Element:Air, Control of Nature
Temperament:Polite and well mannered for most of the time, however prone to drastic mood swings - normally to anger. His sanity is never quite stable.
Story:Lexin was a Le-Matoran, working in the dermis-swamps of Strata Magna. The swamps are full of large protodermis ponds, and unless they are constantly stirred, they become solid and unusable. As such, the Matoran constantly "skate" over the ponds, to keep it in liquid form. However, after being knocked out by a falling tree, Lexin sank into the depths of the pond. It solidified, sealing him in. It took the other Matoran three days to get him out, and by that time he had changed into the Le-Toa - for better or worse.

Sorry in advance for a few fuzzy images, my camera can be a bit temperamental.

Off The Wall: Well, I hope you liked him. I must say, I'm pretty pleased with him. Every limb (save the feet, which aren't limbs anyway, and the wing connectors) is a custom build! I'll be revamping him in the near future, he still seems a bit tall to me for a Toa, and I'd like to clean him up a bit. Hopefully next time the photos will be better!

Comments and (Constructive) Criticisms welcome!

I'll post some C&C here. In canon, matoran that become Toa become what they think looks like a Toa. Lexin must have had some AWESOME ideas on what a Toa should look like. He looks hulking and massive and overall incredible. The only real gripe I have with him is his color scheme and proportions. If you're going to choose green, isolate it down to 1 or 2 shades, because that's a lot of green. I think his head is really small for his body, and his torso is a bit too long. But he looks good, nice job.

I guess I'll put in some C&C. I think you did a good job at creating a titan-like moc, and the mask suits what you're trying to represent. But I think the lime green is a bit out of place as are the wings. Other than that he seems very well balanced.

Quoting Max W. oh, almost forgot. try to consolidate his 3 main colors mostly together, and don't have them all spread out like camo, it looks better if the colors flow together.
Just FYI, this is an old version; the new one is right here: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/353398 ;)

Hm... ok. if it's C&C you want, it's C&C you'll get. First off, I think that the size is definitely hurting this rather than helping it. His head is too small, as are his feet, while his arms are too long and skinny. Also, there are quite a few areas in the torso that are a bit distracting because of awkward color placement. I'd ditch the cape too--It seems a little short for a tunic type thing and it comes off a little more like a skirt. His upper thighs could use a little beef (maybe one piece of armor, nothing too drastic). However, that's it, and it's all fairly minor stuff. The rest is great, especially the silhouette you created with the shoulders and wings, and the shins. If you chopped 3 studs off of his torso, it'd look great, and the awkward bust-shield-mountain would look good instead of out of place. In short, it's got great potential but isn't quite reaching it. Keep in mind I'm being overly critical and I mean the best, you're hearing the little nitpicky bits that I'm usually too lazy to type out. Good moc.

well, Gale already said a lot about this moc, so i guess i'll just say, perhaps replace some of the more obvious red axles with black ones.

Quoting Gale Winthrope Ok, you asked for criticism, so you are going to get it lol. For starters, this thing has a pretty good first impression, in my humble opinion. When I first saw how big it was I was exceedingly impressed. (Not too hard to do given as how I'm merely a novice at MOCing, but still.) I do think however that the size creates some problems for this build. While it looks very study to me, it is disproportionate, and while that can be worked well in some cases, I feel it hurts you here. Shortening the arms about three or four studs would help greatly with that I believe. Along with the disproportion, I feel that, (Like I often do) you made it a bit too colorful. I know why you did, probably not having the 4 tons of pieces that some people (*cough* Ben Cossy *cough*) have and sticking to the jungle color scheme of greens, but it honestly looks a bit messy. I suggest shrinking the size of this guy, which should help with the proportions and should help with colors. Now, while all of this was probably rather rude, I wish to say that I love the armoring you did on some parts here, (Building mechs certainly doesn't hurt with that, does it? XD) and the area around the neck is my absolute favorite. All in all I'd say pretty great for what seems to be your first real Bio build posted here. Great job :)
Thanks for the advice! =)

Ok, Now you're just fueling my nostalgia! I've only owned 6 Bionicle sets in my whole life, and all of the pieces are broken and/or missing by now. And now out of nowhere, a member of the Elite Mechaniers posts a Bionicle MOC. As of now, I'm revisiting my Bionicle LDD project. Nice work by the way!

I'm not much of a bionicle person, but this guy is beast! IDK why it hasn't been rated at all yet, it's as good as some of Legofreak2444's builds, and he is one of the best Bio-MOCists on Mocpages! Maybe you should post it to more groups? Anyways, great job!
