Baby Blue
About this creation
This is the Rod belonging to the Garage project, see here. It's called Baby Blue. The driver is Jake Raines (hard to recognize because of the hairstyle), known from "Pharao's Quest". In fact the rod is derived from the Vintage Truck (see http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/344560), but turned out to something quite different.

I wanted to use those rims and tires, so the front axle is not that complicated. Using the crowbar as an exhaust might be a new aspect, I don't know. The sunshield could only be fixed with some upside down stuff inside. It's not utterly stable, but I wanted to combine this roof with a sunshield. Sticker is Lego (cut), the front rims are custom chromed, of course. Thanks for looking!

@Nils: Thanks a lot buddy, glad you like it! Your comments are welcome at any time. Yeah, I've noticed it, thanks anyway! @John: Thank you! @James: Thanks a lot, glad you like it. The use of the binoculars for such purposes is quite a common thing, though, I couldn't even tell where I have seen that first ...

Better late than never. I didn't forget this beauty, it just was waiting in the line for a comment :-)) The colour scheme is perfect and the whole model is a great customizing of your vintage truck, the air filters anf the exhaust are my favourite details. Great job, Marcus! :-)) P.S.: By the way, you'll have noticed that, don't you? -> http://thelegocarblog.wordpress.com/2012/12/19/baby-blue/ Congratulations! :-))
