A long overdue post of my SR-71. She's been done for some time now, but I figured I'd put this up anyway. The model features: a retractable intake spike, moving flight control surfaces, and is the first MOC I have ever done using solid colors all around. Instructions? I no longer have the model, so I probably don't remember how to build it piece by piece....

Very pretty! The nose is one of the hardest parts about a Blackbird, but you executed it very well. I like that you went through all the trouble of including details like the red striping, decals, and the jet pack thing on top (I've never known what that was for, but I've seen it before in museums and the like).
