"Power of Rakthunion's Amulet, I command thee! Make me a sammich!"
About this creation
Name: Hik Gender: Male Race/Species: Etherian Occupation: Wizard Title(s): MASTER Prevailing Element: Shadow Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Affiliation: Himself Tool(s): Amazing fashion sense, magic, Rakthunion's Amulet Status: Alive MOC Status: Disassembled
Contest:BCBS 12/2012 Contest Round: One Theme: "Etherian"
Hik the Wizard lives by himself in his magical lair in the mountains. It's very cold there, and his fluffy coat and hat of magely doom are practical as well as stylish.
If you ever need a demon wrangled, something gigantic exploded, or that special love potion for a certain someone, Hik's your guy!
As per the contest's rules, Hik is shorter than a Stars build. Just.
Without the hat of magely doom, anyway.
Made more for fun than to actually win. I've never managed to build for the BCBS before, so I'm happy to do so this time. And Hik's build came along surprisingly well, too. ^^
My favourite part is the amulet. Especially in the last photo, it shows a shimmery sort of gold colour reflected by the dish there that I really like. ^^
I love the fingers you added to this MOC. Btw, please join the Imagination Paradise group. It's a public group so anyone can join, but I'm feeling pretty lonely here. T-T I invited you because I looked at most of your MOCs and they are really good. Please accept my invitaion and join Imagination Paradise- where your creativity has no limit.
Nicely done. You get a brofist and an approval from Dante (from the Devil May Cry series). I love the 'make me a sammich!' quote. Gringat, could you visit my homepage and look at the creations I made? I'm new to this site and I would like to know what you think. Here's the link: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/98907 I hope you like them.
Great work as always, Gringat. Even though there are many great Etherians being entered into this contest, I think your chances of winning aren't too bad. ~Jaks

Very neat. I want to ask you something. Are you having a shortage of pieces? I am noticing that you are doing mostly small mocs now. I am having something of the same problem.
It's not pieces I'm short on. It's time. Being in a room at University most of my days now, MOCing isn't something I can do very often. That is, until now. I'm back home for the Christmas hols - so expect some serious MOCing on my part during the next 2 weeks! :D

That guy is pretty dang awesome, I like the techniques, and the gold chain adds a cool look. And your angled shoulders make me jealous, I can't figure out how you did it.
Wonderful! I love the slanted gears near the torso and the gold highlights throughout the moc. Oh, and Rennoc V4 is posted if you want to check him out. I would very much appreciate some critique. Good luck on the entry! (Not that you really care about the points. =p )
I agree with Chronos, it's a bit too tall. However, Gringat, I didn't expect that you were going to entry. And your entry is, excepting the size, perfect. The legs and arms have a nice design, and the hat looks cool, but the prize goes to the torso. The gears, the back and the amulet combinated looks awesome. Thanks for entry, and good luck, my dear! =)
