BSG Viper MKII Refit
Took me about 2 months to complete this project. I wanted to do the best that I could with the limited pieces I have.
About this creation

I couldn't completely destroy the my first version. There were aspects I really liked.

But, as you can see, i rebuilt it many times, probably about 30 or more times. Tearing it down, rebuilding, researching techniques, trying new ideas. The Engine compartment was a blast. It was funny to watch my kids ask, "why are you taking it apart again?"

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 looking good! we re about the same age, I left the lego scene at 13, mostly because of the lack of a 6' wide windshield, which made the city vehicles s scale ridiculous, while I built other themes, city always was my fav!
Thanks! My brother had all the City and I had a few Space. I must admit I enjoy space but City does have it's advantages.

Quoting Anthony Pelino Wow this is really good. Definitely a 5 of 5. I also spent the vast majority of my childhood playing lego, and I'm just now starting to break out all the sets I've amassed over the years. Where do you start?
You start with what you love. Personally, I enjoy too many subjects, so I have to rely on family members making suggestions. i.e. "why don't you make an Enterprise?" I laughed at first, but then, I made plans, took ideas, revamped plans, and just started playing. Yeah, i'm broke and can't afford one color, but, it looks good enough for me.

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Fantastic build! I especially like the side fins, very sleek and sharp.
Sorry for the late reply. Thank you very much. I'm thinking about rebuilding.

Quoting Reaper the Ultimate . I like this a lot, probably because the Viper is so like the X-wing. The build here is good, though it seems to be slightly larger than Minifig Scale, making the pic with the pilot seem a little off. Still, the smoothness really sells this for me.
Thank you! The rebuild was my first attempt at scaling. Unfortunately, I didn't scale it to the minifig. The Next time I build it, I plan on that. Again, thanks!

Quoting clayton Marchetti Awesome viper!
Thank you. After my NCC 1701 project, and looking at many other MoCs, I'm thinking about rebuilding it, spending more detail time on the engine.

Quoting Achintya Prasad I don't where all the comments are, so I will start. It looks, perfect. Simple as that. I have seen many of these Fighters across the pages, but this looks the most accurate! I love the SNOT and Stud-less designing! 5/5, and a new favorite builder! Keep em coming!
<bows> thank you very much. My wife believes I have OCD since I kept taking it apart until I felt it was as close as I could get it. If i trusted myself with paint, i'd do it. Hhaha. I'm havin issues with uploading current pictures, completed several other projects, but they just won't load. I"ll keep trying.

Quoting El Barto ! This turned out pretty slick, Dude! Especially that nose section snap-on design, just like the original toys, actually, maybe you knew that. Anyway, looks awesome, and I suggest switching your main pic from that pile of parts to one of the finished product. This deserves a lot more attention. Well done!
<bows> Coming from you, I greatly appreciate that. I am a BIG fan of your work. Matter of fact, been trying to decide what to do next.
