About this creation

Miluiel: Where are we?

Skargim: I know not.

Suddenly they both heard a voice and began looking for the owner.

Voice: You’re at the edge of Mirkwood.

Skargim: Who said that?

Voice: Only I.

A figure stepped out of the shadows.

Figure: I said it. And if you take one step into the forest you will be trespassing on King Thranduil’s territory.

Skargim: Who are you?

Figure: I am Celorwifyn, border-keeper for King Thranduil.

Celorwifyn drew his knife and stared at the two.

Skargim: We only wish to pass through on the path. We need but to journey to the other side.

Celorwifyn: You may not pass except you journey to Thranduil and state thy business.

Miluiel stepped forward and produced her own knife.

Miluiel: We wish not for any hindrance on our journey. Let us by or I’ll slit your throat.

Skargim: My lady, I hardly think this a good idea. After all there may be other Elves here in the forest, waiting to ambush us.

The Elf stepped aside and sheathed his knife.

Celorwifyn: Very well. If you think it wise to pass these borders you may. I will not hinder thy progress. But if any of the King’s soldiers find you, you may regret your choice.

The two started forward to enter the forest.

Miluiel: Thank you for your cooperation.

They walked into the forest but suddenly a rope wrapped around the legs and pulled them up off of the ground.

Celorwifyn walked towards them chuckling softly. Other Elves came out of hiding in the bushes.

Celorwifyn: I thought you might have taken the Dwarf’s advice ma’am.

Miluiel: You lied!

Celorwifyn: Did I? As you may recall I said that I would not hinder you. I cannot be held responsible for the actions of my friends. I even warned you against your decision, now you must be taken to the King of Mirkwood. May he have mercy on your trespasses.

Miluiel drew her knife and began cutting the ropes.

Celorwifyn: I wouldn’t do that if I were you; it’s a long drop.

Skargim: My lady, please heed his advice. Do you remember how we ended up here?

Miluiel ignored Skargim and kept cutting. The rope snapped and both plummeted to the ground. Skargim groaned in pain.

Celorwifyn: I tried to warn you again. Once again you’ve proven that you are incapable of taking advice.

Miluiel glared at Celorwifyn and rushed toward him jabbing the knife into his shoulder.

Celorwifyn fell to the ground in agony as Miluiel and Skargim ran into the forest.

Celorwifyn: Let them go!

The Elves stopped and looked at their leader.

Elf: My lord?

Celorwifyn: Let them go. They do not know the forests as we do. They will be dead before they find the way out.

Skargim and Miluiel ran through the forest trying to get away from the Elves.

Skargim stopped to catch his breath.

Skargim: I do not believe they are following us.

Miluiel: Neither do I.

Skargim: We must get out of the forest, but I do not know these lands. A plague on the fancies of Elves! Living in forests and thinking they can keep whoever they want out of these-

Miluiel: Silence Dwarf! Your complaining will not help us get out of this land any faster.

Skargim: You are right. I am sorry my lady.

Miluiel started walking and Skargim followed her.

They came to a clearing and saw a hooded figure sitting next to a fire.

Skargim (whispers): Careful my lady, he could be an Elf.

Miluiel said nothing but started forward and stopped next to the figure.

Figure: Who dares to disturb my peace?

Before Miluiel could respond the figure stood and produced a sword.

Figure: Speak, for this clearing is under my jurisdiction, by order of King Thranduil.

Miluiel: My name is Miluiel; I am a Lady of the Dunedain. I am lost in this great forest. Please, help me find the way out.

Figure: I know the way out, but I can see through your lies. You are not alone.

Suddenly an axe flew between them and knocked the sword out of the man’s hand. Both of them turned to look at Skargim, who was holding a large stick.

Skargim: Don’t threaten her, or you will find yourself with a rather large headache.

Figure: Hahahahaha! And if I don’t help you, you will find yourself lost!

Miluiel: He has a point.

Skargim dropped the stick and walked into the clearing.

Skargim: You are right. Your assistance would be most appreciated my lord.

Figure: Yes I know that. If you wish to leave, I will show the way.

Their conversation was cut short by a horde of Goblins entering the clearing.

Figure: Run! I will fend them off!

Skargim: But-

Figure: Go!

Skargim stooped to pick up his axe.

Skargim: I won’t leave!

Miluiel: Come Skargim; we must leave.

Skargim: No! I will destroy these Goblin fiends!

Miluiel: Now you won’t take my advice!

The man motioned toward some trees.

Figure: That way is the way out. Take it and you will immediately be out of the forest.

Skargim started to protest but instead turned and fled.

The man started to fight the Orcs but soon heard a loud mixture of screems coming from the direction he had told Skargim and Miluiel to go.

Skargim and Miluiel had come out of the forest and Miluiel had stopped but Skargim kept running and found himself stumbling off the side of a cliff.

Skargim: My lady; help!

Miluiel ran to his aid but slipped on the wet grass. Loud screams were heard as they fell down the side of the cliff.

The Man walked to the edge of the cliff, followed by the Goblins.

Figure: Inform the Lord that his will has been done. The Dwarf and the Lady are dead.

Note: Well I hope you are all enjoying the series so far. It's been going kind of slow as I have been going for almost a year and I am only on the tenth episode. But anyways; I wanted to say that I won't be posting anything else except my entry for the Middle Earth Lego Olympics until after Christmas. Some of you who may be reading this have requested sig-figs that haven't been made. I haven't made them because I want to see what I get for Christmas and then I can make them as best I can. Also for those of you who were wondering the second to last picture is supposed to be Skargim and Miluiel falling off the side of the cliff a forced perspective if you will.

Excellent episode! Wow, so many things happened in this one. It's a bit slow, yes, but good things are worth the wait! My own series is running for one year now too and has only 10 episodes.
