About this creation
After Tower Ladder 18's 2010 Ferrara was damaged in an accident, the department went in search of a suitable replacement apparatus. Plans were drawn up for a new Seagrave Marauder II 75' Aerialscope, and in December 2011 Tower Ladder 18's new rig was placed into service.

Similar in specifications to the FDNY's new tower ladders, TL18 comes with a 75' Aerialscope rescue platform, stainless-steel cab construction, Aerodynic LED pods, roof mounted scene light, and a fancy Federal Signal EQ2B siren.
