1969 Dodge Charger R/T
Here is my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. I wanted to build one of the iconic muscle cars, and they do not get more iconic than the Charger. This is also my largest car to date, being an 8-wide. Enjoy! EDIT - Thanks to all the great comments. This one is close to being parted down for other projects. I added some close-up photos of the front grill technique to show the upside down wedge system. This was done to acheive the grey grill perimeter.

amazing car dude. one of the best ways to design a car Ive seen, nice that it has opening doors so you could put a Lego man in, rather than the pop off roof.

You made use of the extra width to add in some great extra detail on this one! Clever techniques, the grill and and the black stripe at the back both work really well.

A lot of really unique ideas in this one. I like the grill design, but the roof is what really does it for me. One day I hope to build my own replica of this car.

Thanks for all the great comments everyone! This one is close to being parted out for other projects soon...I added some close up photos of the front grill upside down wedge technique, this was done to acheive the grey grill perimeter and helped to hold the front panels in place. It relation to Ape Flight's comments about the cartoon-ish appearance, this is due to some of the scaling being out. The wheels are slightly too big (probably needs to be 10-wide). I have been working a a number of smaller MOC's lately which have been filling up my desk...so hope to post these soon!

You captured the form of the car well for a vehicle in this scale. It is instantly recognizable as a 69 charger.

Great job : ) Some of the proportions are quite cartoon-y but it's none the worse for that. My favourite parts are the windshield technique and studs-down front grill; really inventive stuff : ) 8/10
