W.A.S.P.
(Warriors Advanced Small Provocation)
About this creation
Hi, welcome to Mandalorian Spirit...
Basicly this corvette is a small version of an Interceptor-frigate

Red flames for your steaks - Also it has half of engines compared to an Rebel Blockade Runner, it is therefore half as big and half as heavy; wich means it is able to chase them, like most other ships cannot.

Weaponary: -9Turbolaser
-10Medi-Lasercanons(they are ment to be set into the halfball-cups, LDD can't)
-12Flare tubes
-3Ioncanons
-1Rapidfire Missilelauncher

Hangar gate closed :)

Right beneath the middle Turbolasers are the energy-transformers for them; they are linked to other lasercanons, wich haven't an own.
Also you see here the big fan for cooling the reactorblock ( Wich theoretically is located in the middle section, but for bricksaving reasons it isn't really there, oh, oh)

Some basic antannae

The Cockpit, the lasercanon-canopies, and the Hangar are the only openable sections of the ship, for minifig action;)

Wardrobe for arms and rocket-backpacks-and very comfty seats for the masters

eightseated tactical-planning and conference table, with holoprojector

Well the location of the windows somehow is mostly to low, and not in line with an clear sight to outside.

The Mandalorian Masters proudly displays their logo in bright red.

You may recognice, the front section looks a bit like wasp's head...

Rapidfire-Concussion-Missilelauncher! ( should fire automatically by rotating the magazine - but i cannot garantee it works in real:(

The underside offers again some laser energy transformers. Also there are the tanks for the hydraulic-liquid for landinggear, laserturrets, and hangardoors.

Yes, it has an real Minifigsized Hangar onboard! But only small fighters can land in it, and the three one in there are standing edge to edge.

On the hangardoors are atmospheric shield generators.

The fighters are quite an treat, armed with two laser- and two ion-canons.

Flare lauchers for defensive reasons

The side-boxes are mostly filled with the reatracted landinggear, but again only theoretically - two deflector-shield-generators may be working inside them.

The corvette's most effective weaponary: four Pulse-guns, charged by engine-pulsed energy - an typical system of Mandalorian technology

The engines are a bit tricky built...with some smaller bricks instead of big round ones.
At the rear are parked two escape-pods; they are built 10 to 10 like the offical legoset.
Also some aft-gunnery:)

the loose lasercanons

open -

Now i introduce you to the extracted landingear, in extra-stable workout:

The thumbwheels fore retracting the landinggear are a bit hidden on the upperside of the side-boxes. You may search for it on former pics...

Now I say thanks to all visitors, may you always win!

What a sexy LDD Stephan. You have an amazing skills on the computer. The level of detail is superb. It is still astounding to see your detailed plans you created for this and all your other BRILLIANT creations. Well done and keep up your spectacular builds. |

An epic build and very skifull use of LDD. It must have taken a lot of time and dedication to get the details and various mechanisms to work. The thing that gives you an idea of the huge scale of this MOC is the hangar. Great work! |

that's crazy... how much time do you spent on your pc... ;-) ?? As you know - i know how much work such an LDD-beast is...And you pull out one creation after another. Really nice design ! Some sections are really well done. Like the engines - the mudguards are used super ;-) ! I only have one criticism... The inner construction isn't stable enough i think. If you would built this for real it maybe would brake in the middle, but i don't know... I came to this point cause i'm doing the Nostromo now for real - and there are some sections i have to think about a second time... :(
Thanks for the comment.
1. This moc have been built through the whole year, when i was building smaller things too.
2. On LDD you my have a look at the inner constrution, i have done my best for an stable solution; in real it will be able to add even more technic-bars in lenghs direction - at the moment the plates keep the pegs from sliding out of the holes; that is the good and bad part of the holes, and the many existing angle-converter bricks; i am most curious to try the landinggear in real. The first 2000 bricks are already bought.
