Volvo 240
A plain old Volvo 240. With the wrong engine, methinks. Me doesn't mind all that much, considering its a Volvo. I does have some proper steering geometry, though. With real steering action!
About this creation

Some artsy shots in the sun.

With real sun action, mind you. And a frozen photographer! =)

I can also tell you that the Volvo is great for bird watching, the birds came to the feeder above my head even though my noisy diesel Volvo was there.

The side, with too many doors.

And so the Volvo explodes into a kaleidoscope of color.

A more refined sort of rear view.

Action shot! Although in a Volvo the only action is a boring drive. Or a nap.

Helicropter view.

Now with real door action!

And a giant fuzzy hand to open the trunk for you. It does demand tipping, though. Maybe not the best add-on.

The diesel V6! I have not idea why! Moving on!

The the steering. With real caster-angle action! ( No really )

And double wishbone suspensionsesesness.

And the back. With boring trailing arms.

ZZz.z.z.z.z.ZZZ.z.z.z.z.z.z.

The interior, with seats that slide up/forward and down/back. But with some new mounts to fit on the new, sturdier chassis. The old Merc was a smidge bendy. So I unbendied it.

*Shuffle Shuffle*

And a parking brake! Very important

Now with a folding rear seat!

Overall view.

overall Inteiororoer view number 2

Sun visors, with folding capability.

View

Power-sliding action! Okay, that was a blatant lie. I admit it.

Last time I made a Volvo, I made a quick jpg of it diving off a cliff for Chris Melby. I think this time we can do better. (Although it'll be hard to top dropping it on the crane!)

I think the driveway might work.

Thanks for watching! Goodnight!

Duude, I think a shot of it spinning its wheels in the snow is better than the cliff drop, and also, a funny little side note, if you drive down to Lego Land California in that bad boy, you get a discounted VOLVO VIP parking pass. No shat. Great build as usual! Z

Amazing, perfect, fantastic! The detail on these cars is immense! I love the seats, and the parking break :) I think you should make a lotus europa in this scale, I could imagine you making an amazing one :)

Wow, that's cool, so many functions for that rather boring car (I mean the original)! The Volvo grill is my favourite detail (clever parts usage!). How do you get all that time for building so many so big models in such a short time period? ;-)) It's amazing! Great job, again! :-))

A fantastic build! And don't worry about this not being a particularly "exciting" car. Your funny commentary more than makes up for it. :)

Nice, but I think the back is much too short and low! Also, I must admit that I have ducked you one smilie face for talking bad of Geely -I mean Volvo! I own a Volvo V40, and itīs the best car I have had, between: VW, another VW, Alfa Romeo, Toyota, Nissan and a Talbot Horizon. Volvo for (mid)life!

Nice! I recently saw a kid doing burnouts in one of these! A Volvo breaking traction is rarer than a bigfoot sighting I think! Anyway, great build and an amusing read as always :-)

Spiffy Volvo... I like this, though royal blue with tan is too luxury IMO (it's s Volvo) and the 1x1 cheesy pieces... I thought this Volvo has a square back? Anyway, another great technic car. Great job!

Quoting Alex B Awesome Boring Car! Was this based off your Merc at all? Did it scrape the Legos when the well fell off? Do you live in the USA? Did you get allot of snow? Sorry for asking so many questions. =/
