About this creation
George Müller, and his orphanage. This is a diorama that I have been working on for a while. This is definitely one of my favorites so far. :D I am very pleased with the brick design. I used one of Thoy Bradley's creation's design, but different. Finally, I can get back to the CCCX! :D
Heres the summary of the story:
George Müller was a christian man who fully depended on God, to provide for all his needs. When he was a young man, he was not a christian, and landed in jail twice. Later in life, he gave his life to Jesus, and served him fully. He started many orphanages, and this creation is based off one of the better known ones. This creation is based off a true story, of when George ran out of food, but had to food 300 orphans. God provided, and sent a baker, and a milkman. God gave the baker an incentive to get up at 2 am and bake George some bread. The milkman's cart broke down in front of the orphanage, and he gave gallons of milk to George so that he could fix his cart.
C&C appreciated!

The road. The cart was the hardest part of the build. I am amazed at those car builders, these are so hard! :D

Wonderful creation Matthew! That story was always a favorite of mine. Love your walls and the overall cleanness of the build. The milk cart is a little big but as a whole, the build is superb. Definitely one of your best creations to date! |

I remember my mom telling me this story when I was very little; it's always reminded me that we should never give up hope, even when things look their bleakest. Excellent job on recreating this famous scene! |

Fantastic designs for everything! I think the reins for the horse could be made smaller but apart from that this is amazing!
Me too. I didn't have anything other though...

Brilliant coloring, texture, cobbled road, an excellent use of those "brick" bricks, nice piano... you knocked this one out of the park! Er... orphanage. Inspiring story as well as build.
Hahaha! That's great! Thanks for the great comment, as always, A M!
