Well everyone has been building vic vipers lately so I thought I would build one too. This was a fairly quick build just a day building time, but I think it still turned out good. Please those of you who build ships more often please give some tips I am not very experienced in this form of building.
About this creation
I dont build ships to often so constructive criticism is appreciated.
Gorgeous! Very foreign and non-human looking. I personally imagine the trans-blue as representing some sort of energy-field projection/construction, very far from human-style design. That said, I'll agree with some of the others about the engines; they look very human, like the ship had its native propulsion system blown off and the pilot had to make do with what he could find at a human-space pick-and-pull.
Thank you for your comments David Roberts and Jesse Long. Just to make it clear I actually never read the rules because this was never intended for Novvember just a fun build for no reason but building a spacecraft. Next time I build a Vic Viper Ill be sure to add those details. Again thank you for you input I appreciate it. :)
I agree with David but I also love the nice (and obviously VERY difficult) cylindrical front dual nose cones on your Vic Viper. If you want some ideas for some wings to make it look more like a true Vic Viper, why not borrow the ideas for my wings on my Vic Viper on your craft? They seem to be more of a typical Vic Viper size anyway. Also, I would love to hear your opinions on my Vic Viper when you have the time to see it, okay? Thank you.
The technique for the front prongs is brilliant, giving that octagonal shape with all of those angles. The trans blue and white colours scheme works very well and the trans blue fins are a great idea: original and eye-catching. I think that the engines are a bit plain in comparison to the rest of the build, though there are some nice grey greebles on top. I agree with Mihe Stonee, this ship needs some wings to be a Vic Viper. Here's a fun synopsis of the design rules:
Quoting navy person
awesome i like all the translucent bricks 5/5 also could you tell me what kind of background you used i have been searching for a new one to replace the white sheet i have been using
I used a black poster board. I found it at a dollarama if that helps you.
this looks really futuristic! the lights are a little bit like from Thron, but as beautiful! For a Vic Viper i only miss the wings on the back which Nnenn came up with the "rules". All in all there are nice technics included ;-) !
