About this creation
Colonial Viper Mark II in the Launch Tube

Squadron exiting port Flight Pod.

Vipers serve both offensive and defensive roles in the Colonial Fleet.

Capable of both space and atmospheric flight, Vipers are a versatile weapons platform.

Stealth Viper being loaded into the Launch Tube.

The Stealth Viper was designed for long range reconnaissance and/or combat missions.

Pilot: "Punch it!"

Unlike other Vipers, the Stealth Viper is FTL capable.

The newest version of the Mark II is the Missile Viper. Modifications designed by the Halliwell Corporation.

With multiple hard points under the wings, the Missile Viper is capable of delivering a heavy punch to enemy capital ships and fortified installations.

All together, a deadly combination!!

Quoting Me ! Wow... you make excellent stuff. builds similar to these are #3 on the "if I had 10 grand to burn" list. :D
Thanks, Dude! Probably wouldn't cost much more than $20 if you could get the parts all from one Bricklink store.

Thanks! That was a tricky shot to set up, since the hangar deck is on a shelf in a closet. Just a few cardboard boxes, and badda bing!

Quoting Some Federation guy I'll try making the stealth fighter but do u have instructions for the colonial viper?
'Fraid not, Dude. But they're exactly the same. So what I meant was to look at the other posts of the regular Viper for clues as to how it's put together. The Stealth ship is exactly the same. I hope that helps!

Quoting Some Federation guy I love everything you have done! I like the bsg the next chapter! DO you think you could have instructions for the stealth fighter? I love it so much I just need to have it myself. Your design in particular looks better than the other colonial vipers! Cheers mate!
Thanks for the enthusiastic comment! But sorry, no instructions. I would say you should be able to figure out the stealth fighter from the regular red and white one. Tyler was able to get 95% of it when he built the Missile Viper. The only tricky part is getting the seat of the cockpit low enough for the canopy to close all the way. Let me know how it goes!

Quoting Ian Spacek Goodness, there are vipers everywhere I look now!! Am I missing something here? Is it build a viper month!? Anyhow, great builds El Barto! I like how you've incorporated them into you B.G.A. stuff, or did they originate in B.G.A? You'll have to forgive my ignorance, when it comes to B.G.A. I'm quite clueless. :)
In fact it is Viper month, also known as Novvember. But these aren't technically Vic Vipers, seeing as they only have the one nose. The red and white Viper that I build IS part of the BSG universe, old (70s) and new (2003). You really should check out the show. Thanks for the comment!

Quoting Tim C Sweet Colonial Vipers, Barto. I will always love that original look. Yours are, of course, very accurate; almost as though I should be able to look inside one and see Dirk Benedict flashing that winning smile back at me;) However, the other colors are very creative. I especially like that red/yellow combination that you threw in there. As always, great work on the photo editing, and the other scenery that you placed the vipers in is very well done. Very talented, good sir.
The red/gray/yellow color scheme is courtesy of Mr. Halliwell when he returned my BW stuff. I thought adding some heavy armaments was a good idea. My Vipers, based on a design by a guy named Catptain Nakota http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1430189 The other common design, although more detailed wouldn't work in my hangar bay, way too big. Thanks again for the kind words, Dude!
