About this creation
this loco was built on LDD using Anthony Sava's great train instructions. this loco was kinda challenging to build due to several peices in the nose not wanting to fit where they were so i had to modify it. the paint scheme is the Southern Pacific Lines' version of the original paint. yes, i know there is alot of gold in the design. the credit goes to Sava and his train creations. the lxf file is at the bottom.

Quoting Anthony Sava I am pleased you are happy with my design, but I cannot say I am happy you are giving the LDD file away. It was a design I spent three years to create and did not decide to sell the instructions lightly.
I removed the correct ldd file from this page and in its place put a file whose model was deleted due to outdated parts.

Quoting Samuel Sims incredible
Yes, this will be one of the lucky few that will go from LDD to a build but before this will be constructed I have to finish my Jupiter-1 class loco (J1) and design and construct Big boy 4014 in scale with BBB XL drivers I want the biggest big boy out there

Quoting TF Twitch I took a more in-depth look at this, and I must say that it is well done. The articulation of the wheels is genius, as well as the nose section. Those have to be my favorite parts of this locomotive.
well i have to give credit to Mr. Anthony Sava for providing his exellant lego instructions for his lego models.

Quoting TF Twitch This is sweet! I will definately have a more in-depth look at it later, of which I am excited to do. I have been curious how to create the angled nose (shark nose I believe it is called?).
ya the nose construct differs slightly in the inside than the intructions as some parts in certain places ldd didnt like. you're right in the common name forthis nose streamlining is the shark nose but it was referring to the t1's successors. hope to see those big boys soon and heres savas bricklink store : http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=AggieSava
