Side Project 2.3 CyberAgent2.5 YelloVV
last modification (I hope)
About this creation

version in Purple: Otherwise known as CyberAgent 2.3 VViolet

Changes: principally I've added a heel to the foot (which forms a second pair of forward mounted cannons in vehicle form) and added a white stripe to the tail fins.

Inspired by Chris's comment below I've retooled this design as a new Cybertronian Shockwave.

Version in red: Otherwise known as CyberAgent 2.3 VVermillion

Changes: this was created before the purple version, so it has the same white stripe on the tail fins, but no forward weapons or the additional heel spur.

Version in blue: Otherwise known as CyberAgent 2.3 NaVVy

Changes: mostly colour scheme changes, yellow areas made blue.

I had issues with the uploader while sorting out this particular moc. Something to do with Java not being installed? whatever, it is now sorted.

CyberAgent 2.5 YelloVV "Vic Viper" Type.

This is a side project as it doesn't form part of the main story. I like this design and it may get recycled at some point, but for now it is purely for NoVVember and nothing else.

Abilities: The YelloVV can achieve a flight mode by transforming into a Vic Viper style aircraft mode, specifically designed for space combat, but capable of inner atmosphere flight for short periods of time.

Unlike the older VVhite, it has more weapons options, including 2 undercarriage mounted guns in vehicle form. The engines still form wrist blasters in Agent mode.

Notes:

I love how this design worked out. The chunky feet add real character to the design and set it apart from most of my other designs, both as a CyberAgent and as a mech. I'm tempted to continue in this direction in future.

The "cone head" helmet was a pure accident, but I like it. It puts me in mind of Decepticons Ramjet and Dirge and I'm tempted to retool this as Cybertronian versions of both those characters. The vehicle form also reminds me of Dirge's.

I love how large elements of the vehicle form fold up to form the shoulders and chest in a very satisfying way. I've never pulled that off before and I'm tempted to try something similar again next time I do a transforming mecha.

To anyone asking themselves: Why LDD? - read my home page, I don't work in real bricks. End of story. Why not Minifig scale? - this is in CyberAgent/Moodland scale, it was never intended to fit a minifig. I don't (normally) work in minifig scale, but I may attempt something before the end of NoVVember. Why all the VV stuff? Because it's a Vic Viper... duh?!

Quoting David Alexander Smith An even better transforming vic.
Thank you. It's much easier to achieve what I was aiming for at this scale. I love my microbots, but you are limited by comparison.

Quoting Jesse Long Andros, you are SO getting added to my list for not only making a Transformer but also making it into a Vic Viper AND providing numerous color schemes to boot. However, if there are some small complaints that have to be made, they are that it is not LEGO minifig sized and that they were not done outside of LEGO Digital Designer. I like seeing things in the real world myself. If you can not afford the LEGO parts that you need, then Bricklink, Craigslist, Ebay, and other LEGO fans are your best friends.
My preference for virtual Lego is more to do with the unlimited resources available, rather than a lack of actual bricks. I just prefer to work virtually. And as I mentioned in my description, I don't often work in minifig scale.

Quoting Angka Utama A proper vehicle mode AND a proper robot mode, a rare combination.
Thanks, and yes it is difficult to get both in the same design, Legoformers are rife with compromise.
