Just wanted to do a highly detailed yellow castle scene. So here we see Pirate Girl in the waiting chambers of Baron Von Claus.

So who gets to reassemble this thing when you ship it off to a convention?
Hehe, now that would be tedious! |

Great workmanship dude. What a hair doo. Like the brick wall background and the way you put it together. Well done and thanks for the insight.
Thanks so much Garry, I often wonder just what mega structure you yourself are working on as scramble my modest stuff together, hahaha. I just can't seem to stop at the moment! |

Nice one! I imagine that wall took a while to get right, but the texture it gives is fantastic.
Cheers Aidan, yeh, it just gives it that stack stone look. I almost wish I hadn't tried it, because I just know my next Greydell vig is gonna have to be a corker just to pass mustard!

Cheer Aidan, yeh it was a neat little experiment, but it means my next Greydell vig is gonna have to rock to pass muster. I tried a pun on the yellow with that saying by typing pass mustard at it got auto mod'd, lmao. We don't like bad jokes on P's! hehehe, cheers ,mate :) |

I love the atmosphere of this. The wall is great, but my favourite is the painting.
Cheers Marcus, yes well I so often feel that the lego boxes themselves have some Moc worthy stuff to offer also. Why not use part of a LOTR box as a rug on the floor of Moc? Same as the painting, just cut it out of a catalog. It's official Lego product after all :) |

It probably would have been a lot easier if you had like 1x2 bricks on both sides of it to hold it together and possibly another wall behind it. :)
spot on, and I have already done just that for a grey wall, totally framed the tiles in a 'shelf' frame. Cheers Quad:) |

Wow, you are on some kind of building high! That wall is insane! There IS just something about that yellow glow. It gives some kind of 'feel/mood' to the scenes... just can't describe it yet?! Oh, and I just want to know how you managed to only photograph 3 cherries in that fruit bowl? :)
I agree, there is such a mood to the lighting when you use yellow bricks. I just can't stop using yellow! |

The brickwork is pure insanity! I would have knocked it over just thinking that I was going to knock it over. Great scene, I imagine the next one is Pirate Girl decking him THROUGH the wall. KAPOW!
hahaha, now that would make a great scene! |

That wall looks really nice. I wonder what the effect would be with some white or tan 1x2 tiles spread throughout?
Mate, it would have looked even better, why didn't I? Hehe, maybe next time... |

Love the candelabra, and the wall is nice but certainly not something I'll attempt. A great little scene, with a nicely detailed fireplace. Tell me, this must be just moments before she slaps the dude for speaking ill of her mother, right?
Hahaha, sounds like you've had a similar experience? Nah, cheers Dennis, it would probably be more 'in' if done in grey, but I'll leave for that another time... |
