About this creation
Hi guys, I am on a dead end. Because above here you see my 14-wide Mazda3 MPS. It is bad, I know. But I don't know what I am going to do next. Do I need to follow tips for doing it better, or destroy it and make another car? In case of the last, please tell me what car too. I am in the mood to build everything!
Please help and comment!

Doesn't look bad :) I think maybe change the front bit, where it sticks out but honestly it looks quie good :) |

Maybe you should try it harder to take every single deatil from the real in Lego, your actually versions looks a bit like a race car maybe you can buy these speed racer fenders to make the car higher. |

Like I said before, it's best to do a squarish car first, like I did with my 2002. It's a lot easier to get right then. I suggested an old muscle car, but a CRX is a great idea, I'd love to see you try that. |

I suspect you may have started with the idea for using the pieces over the front wheels and gone from there. Big pieces like this are rarely exactly the right shape and they've thrown everything else off. I'd say start again, building up the right shapes with smaller pieces.
Actually those pièces came there by accident. I was experimenting with 1x4 curved bricks for the shape but it didn't work :l so this was where I came up with. |

Low on pieces? Yellow color? A cool car with low usage of pieces??? *brain calculates idea* LOTUS ELISE WITHOUT TOP! :D Well...the lights look like the ones of an Elise...And it is also a smaller car! You could nail it perfectly! :D Just an idea :) BTW,the Mazda doesn't look that bad.
MARCEL! Thats an awesome idea! Maybe I'll try to improve my Mazda, if it cannot be improved, I have the Lotus as back-up. Thanks! |

It's ok, probably a 2.5/5. As on Flickr, I think you need to study pictures of the real thing and take in all the details that make it a Mazda 3 MPS. The more of these you can re-create in Lego, the better the MOC will be. For example, currently it's missing; the bonnet air intake, fog lights, rear doors and c-pillar 'kink', roof spolier, rising belt-line etc. No problem to learn from this version and start again, I lose count the amount of attempts it takes me to build anything half-decent! Good luck!
Thanks for passing by - yeah, a lot is missing. The spoiler is on there though, just not good visible. I need to get myself building again... |

Honestly, I'm not sure exactly what a mazda3 looks like, so it may not be as bad as you think but abandon anyway and maybe do an early Honda CRX some justice! |
