About this creation

Back in the '80s I've tried to make a lego car with 4WD, steering, suspension, a working V8 and a gearbox. Finally I succeeded thanks to stackless lego.

The V8 has a supercharger on top, inspired by one of the V8's I found on youtube. It runs very smooth because the 2 crankshafts are at the end connected by the chain which runs to the "supercharger". In first gear it makes a lot of rounds per minute and it sounds great.

In order to make it all work I had to make a frame with as little torque possible. I used triangles to make the frame stiff.

The gearbox has 4 gears, no R. It's got 3 differentials 2 for the front and back, one in the middle.

Thank you very much. It was a puzzle to make all the parts move in all directions and making the wheel travel as long as possible. It has a good stop.
