V for Vampire...

When a strange craft started to appear in the no fly zone, scientists argued over possible origins. The only markings the craft ever employed was a single chevron. Years later it was discovered that in fact the mystery aliens looked human, and that the chevron was in fact the letter V - V for Vampire...
About this creation
So long ago that people forgot why, a gigantic sector of human space had been ruled a no go zone. When the Alien War erupted the necessity to scout all space saw humans return. Draggone investigated in turn and in the end the results were often the same. Nothing seemed ever to return. Both sides imagined they were simply being killed by each other. Until this reconnaissance photo was taken.

Given they need no oxygen and and never age, and can communicate telepathically, it is no wonder they have become an interstellar power unto themselves. And given their invention of synthetic blood, they need keep no livestock, hence their ability to inhabit otherwise dead worlds. Currently it is estimated the Vampires control 175 worlds.

When asked about what he thought about vampires, Director Levens was quoted simply as saying, 'I'm just glad they're on our side, sort of...'

Long live GAIA!!!

As if xenophobic power-mad lizards wasn't bad enough, now we have to deal with space vamps to boot! However vou've given me a great idea with this beauty. Thank you my friend.

Quoting Cody G Good point with the space capabilities! Nice work!
Totally! Imagine, they are the perfect colonisers of space. If we actually had vampires, we could send them to Mars next week! We could send them to distant stars, they'd get there eventually?

Quoting Topsy Creatori(StoveTop nomore!) I especially like the hyper-drive effects and the recon shots! You've integrated this well into your GAIA theme. You've put vampires on my brain again... going to have to check when the next new Sookie book is due to come out! :)
hehe, deep throaty voice - 'Sookiee' - I dig that show too, and Vampire diaries, and Buffy/Angel, and so many others.

Quoting El Barto ! Vampire viper: a deadly combination! Cool effects, that action shot in particular. An interesting twist working your vampire theme into the GAIA saga. Wicked!
Cheers Barto, yeh I figured why not? If I was going to write a heavy dramatic novel, I'd keep them out, but if I was doing a fun actiony comic, I'd totally write them in. So I reckon Mpages plays closer to the comic style of things :) Glad you like it. GAIA is just full of aliens, but also has a subtle undertone of supernatural themes and magic, the way sci fi should be!

Hehe, I love that you guys totally picked up on the fang like guns, and the semi-exposed grey engine tubes. Those were my favourite little details also, apart from the hopefully sinister shape! Cheers :)

I'm with David, I love those little embedded engines. The blood red interior on the black bat is exactly how I'd imagine a Vampire spacecraft. I hope it docks to its mothership in an inverted angle.

Firstly, a creepy and creative back story. I like the idea of how well adapted the Vampires are to living in deep space. A great addition to the G.A.I.A. theme. I love the build too! Nice, clean, sleek lines and a great black and red colour scheme, with white "fangs" at the front. Definitely built in your distinctive style too. The grey engine pods, buried in each front prong, are a nice bit of subtle greebling/detail.
