A small assortment of space craft, piloted by spacemen. In space.
About this creation
The Unwieldy Pteranodon!

I'll start off with this orange and brown piece of kit. No windows and lots of edgy bits was the theme.

I'm rather pleased with the styling, but these photos are absurd rubbish. I think it's time to fire my camera. Without pension.

The giant rear wings remind me of a certain reptilian critter.
The Auspicious Citrus!

Moving on to a smaller, less lethal MOC.

The two big engine pods started the whole thing. Classic space men made the rest come together. Although it looks nothing like Classic space.... ???

I should also mention I spent half of the time building this thing in the dark. I was aware of the giant white panel (I ran out of yellow ones), but the tan bit shouldn't be there.

The smooth tiley undercarriage. Ace!

Could stand some more engines, though. I seem to like 12 engines, all my ludicrously engined spaceships end up with 12. =/
And now for something you've already seen! No dizzying speed this time, just a pleasant walk-around-tour kind of GIF.
The Bludgeoning Burrito

And this thing again? That's right, it's survived a whole year. it even got some upgrades! Unheard of for a Chinchillean MOC. Makes you wonder what I'll do with the Kastenwagen. >=D

In all seriousness, this one will be further refined and re-posted with half decent pics.

Some action views.

Another attempt at "the shot".

The engine, made of ADU people legs. Logic strikes again, good sirs!

The side, which could stand some evening out.

WALRUSESESS!!!!!!!

Thanks for viewing!

By the way: Chinchilla, how do you think about judging the NnoVVember 2012 Vic Vipers in the "Owners Club"? To make it simple, each of us could name his Top 5 and then we add points, like 5 for a 1st place, 4 for a 2nd, ... 1 for a 5th place. |

Great models! I love the title ;) They are ingenious little models, packed with great technigue to give a complicated yet good looking design :) I have made a group, and was wondering if you wanted to add your chinchilla motors to it? heres the link:

Mr. Chinchilla, I'm a big fan of the Pteranodon. The choice of colors, and the overall shape (especially that orange wing on the side) are pleasing to the eye. The only part I'm not fond of is the rather under-developed connection between the main body and the side assemblies. Attack! |

It would be cool to have the new Viper as a single model in the NnoVVember collection of our Vic Viper Owners Club :-)) I'll get them posted before NoVVember is over, for sure. I just need to fix up the grey one and get enough good pictures.

I really like the first ship in the collection. It's an unusual colour combination but I think that it works well and makes your VV stand out. The lack of windows means that it could be a massive ship, built in micro-scale. I like how the thin hinges join the two wings to the main fuselage. |

Is nowhere safe from marauding Chinchillas... !? I like the style of these, much nicer than my own doodlings in the genre. |
