Well, considering almost all of my other entries did make it to top 5 I'm not too worried about it. ;) |

Another jaw-dropping build, man. The recessed ceilings are perfectly detailed and that's the best use of the lion gargoyles I've seen yet. The stained glass windows are awesome and I love the shot with the light behind them. The floor tiles are great - is that SNOTing? Keep the awesome builds coming. I think that second and fourth photos are particularly good. The stained glass in the darkness and the effect of looking up into the room are both wonderful. I like the use of the bannisters in the cornice too. |

Great NPU for all the architectural elements! But to those others who commented... I believe the term buttress is used primarily for outside supports? Anyhoo, wouldn't this be magnificent as a large build! :) |

Wow! This piece of architecture is fantastic! I agree with Matthew on many counts, especially on the mosaics and pillars. Btw, would mind giving some of my less-popular stuff some CC? (note: I'm not a halo kiddie or anything, I don't even LIKE sci-fi.) |

Great work with those columns Mark! Very corinthian. The buttresses look a little messy, but the pillars and the windows balance that out. Good luck! |

Amazing Mark! This is just stunning! I love your architecture! You should do it more often! :D The stained glass windows look great, and the mosaics on the floor just add to the effect. Your pillars are magnificent! I love how you used those curved fences for an arch. Good luck! |

I never tire of seeing a new Erickson MOC show up on this site. I'm always amazed at how quickly you're able to get such high quality work done. I think you must have the cobbler's little helper elves that show up and build these things for you while you're sleeping;) This is another major win for you. I love the fact that you can take a corner of a palace and make it so meaningful. I feel like I can picture the room that surrounds it. The stained glass windows look great, and the floor tiles are brilliant. I also love the shaping of the pillars. The whole work makes me think of something one might find in Hogwarts. Very well done, as always, Mark. |
