At Steam Punkin’s request(a demand they couldn’t refuse!) the Motley Villians of Crime Association (MVCA) members have recently undergone Image Consultation. ‘Before and After’ photos have been taken of all 5 members shown in the old group photo in addition to 2 members not appearing in the old photo, as well as, the newest member, Technic Bulldog’s Atomic Physicist. The Magnificant 8 are posted in alphabetical order with bios underneath each photo…
Anonomous Bucks--Financeer, Wanda's Dad, & Man of Unknown Greek Origin who is now sporting new threads and mula green hair! (Shhh, yes, he DOES resemble another crime figure you have seen before. That’s because, it has just been revealed that Bucks is a half-brother to Lord Sam Sinister!) A proclivity for vision problems must run in the family?
Einstein Max Million—Technic Bulldog’s new Physicist & Wanda’s new Boyfriend. He’s believed to be of Austrian-Hungarian Royal Stock on his father’s side of the family. And, although his head of newly imaged red hair is still a touch unruly, he’s impeccably dressed in some sort of British Military Uniform… who can figure those crazy Image Consultants?! Well, at least he’s ditched those green work overalls, but we can all see what must have first attracted him to Wanda!
Lord Sam Sinister—Fan of Arthur Conan Doyle, Half brother to Anonomous, Zelda’s Dad, and like, his half bro, reported to be a notorious International Crime Syndicate Boss. On the suggestion of Image Consultant, Ima Looker, Sinister ditched his stupid fake hook and his much too casual aviator scarf and shirt (actually he loaned them to Roger). For casual attire he wears… what else… a Sherlock Holmes look-a-like tweed jacket! But today he’s the picture of British elegance in his red foxhunting jacket.
Perry Pithelmet—A naturalist & bush explorer, Perry is now sporting new threads to accentuate his sexy ‘ever-popular with the ladies’ disheveled look. With those white pants and white pith helmet he’s surely a good guy. What lady wouldn’t want to have him come to her rescue?!
Roger Ridiculus--Former bush pilot, turned personal pilot/chauffer-for-hire. He’s sporting a cool aviator scarf and shirt courtesy of Sinister and the Image Consultants. It’s rumored that he’s highly skilled in helping ladies over come their fear of flying!
SteamPunkin--Head Honcho Punkin is sporting black wool/silk evening attire. He was in no real need of massive image reconstruction, as he already owned evening threads. He’s always been super sophisticated!
Wacky Wanda--Girl Engineer, CEO and Chief Engineer of Technic BullDog. Finally, a picture of Wanda without her welding goggles and red overalls! Overalls are okay for the lab but NOT the ballroom or even the boardroom! The Image Consultants certainly had their work cut out vamping-up Wanda!
Zelda Zucchini--European Touring Car Racer, Punkin’s Main Squeeze, daughter of the infamous Lord Sinister! It’s not often we get treated to seeing her in a dress… and this one’s designed with a new Parisian bustle in the back and a lovely yellow silk sheer chiffon modesty panel at the top of the dress’ bodice… so fashionable… she’s lovely!
4th Wall: I created these characters shortly after I first became a member of MOCpagees. They have been sitting silently, being viewed occasionally. But, they have not been silent in my mind. I had always entertained the idea to go back and update the characters, their dress, and their bios. I did so in Nov. of 2012, posted this revised page, and deleted the old one!
Quoting Parrington Levens
Hahahaha, great idea, really fun, and so well detailed. Clothes really can make the person! or Minifig!
Thanks, PL! I’m a bit of a number/data collector (probably due to my educational/work experience background). I keep data on some of my builds, the older version of this was one of them. The older version, before it was deleted, was my 2nd oldest page on MOCpages. That version’s page took 5 months just to receive ~88 views. This version’s page took less than a day! So image, promotion/advertising… and perhaps a bit of improvement of build/builder… does indeed work! I have the numbers to show it! :)
