My Town Lights Up :)
Now the 2nd update of my town with night shots. Added two new buildings, the Town Hall and the Grand Emporium. Will buy a 2nd Grand Emporium set because i'll build it higher. All buildings are lighted with battery operated LED lighting strings. I love the the new town layout in the dark with all lights on. I hope you too :) Thanks for watching, commenting and rating it. Enjoy it. Btw, a third update will come soon when all details are finished.

Quoting Brian Meek I swear the first time I saw the night shot at top, I thought it was a real skyline shot at night taken from like a helicopter or something! This is so realistic and beautiful, I hope to light my city like this someday. Where did you find the light strings to do this with?
Thank you very much for your kind comment Brian. I'm really happy about it :) Some of our local stores sell them during the pre-christmas season (Here in Germany). Follow the link i added for you and you will see which lighs i used. Bought a lot of them. http://www.amazon.com/Warm-White-Lights-Silver-Wire/dp/B004E328A4/ref=pd_sim_lg_3

Quoting Isaiah Marc Incredible build, do you know exactly how many light bricks it took.
Thanks a lot for your comment Isaiah. I used no light bricks, only battery operated lighting strings if you meant this. Used eight of them with 20 led lights on each string.

Quoting Marcus Paul Wow, this looks fantastic, my friend! It's so realistic! And using those lights is a great idea - probably much easier than with Lego parts. I think I must have this, too (only one and a half buildings until now, but there will be more ...). - I am still quite touched by your nice comment, had to read it to Alex. Many many thanks buddy!
Marcus my friend. I'm really excited about your kind comment. Yeah, i think you should have these lighting strings. Btw, bought two new lighting strings today because i have some other stuff where i need them. Like at my Lego Christmas tree for example ;) And i buy tomorrow a 2nd Grand Emporium. It was me a pleasure commenting your really beautiful Fire Truck. It's such a great creation. Love it Love it Love it ;) Fantastic work my friend.

Quoting Tris B Its lovely, I'd really like to light my town, I've only one light brick at present but I do have a 1970s lighting kit, with the blue plugs, wire and batteries the size of a train but sadly it's broken.
Thank you very much Tris. I think you can light your town easily with these lights. I used the same for all my buildings. Here in Germany it costs 6 Euros without batteries. http://www.amazon.com/Warm-White-Lights-Silver-Wire/dp/B004E328A4/ref=pd_cp_hi_0

Quoting Alex B Very cool my friend! I have the grand emporium too. I would like 2 get the town hall but I don't have the funds. You should get the fire brigade! :-)
Thanks a lot my friend :) I thought about getting the Fire Brigade, but i don't like the style of the building. Like i said to Martijn, i'll buy a 2nd Grand Emporium. Luckily now i have enough money for getting new Legos :) Btw, very sad that you don't have the funds for the Town Hall. But it will be available for a longer time i think.
